I think that at the Democratic National Convention Joe Biden announces he is stepping down. There is a brokered convention and Joe throws his support behind his son. Hunter runs on the cocaine and hookers platform and becomes the leading candidate and eventually the 37th president of the United States.

He stands trial and gets a long jail sentence for tax evasion. Just like Al Capone.

He gives up the Big Guy to save his skin. He sings like a canary.

He is found in a hotel, dead from an "accidental" overdose of cocaine and fentanyl. Everyone but Joe will see the irony. Joe Biden will blame Trump.

Not a damn thing. He gets a free pass from the DOJ

He'll get a pass, or as close to it as can be. I find it very unlikely that he'll do any jail time. More likely is he gets used to take Biden out of the 2024 race, and use taking him out politically as an excuse to go after Trump harder. It probably will be DeSantis vs. Newsome, neither has as much baggage, and represents their party well as a concentrate of their beliefs, and what they look like exercised over time and in their areas.

I voted for the OD. Maybe wishful thinking. Although an OD could be cover to get him plastic surgery, new ID, and smuggle him out of the country.
But it's just as likely that the FBI, DOJ and deep state will cover for him and he'll get a deal without prison time.

This nepotism destroys Joe's re-election possibilities, but the Democrats don't have anyone to compete against the Republicans so they nominate someone to "take one for the team". The Republicans easily win the Presidency in 2024. I won't guess who that is... that's a whole other interesting discussion.

I guess no one noticed that the indictments protect his Papa, who can of course pardon him on his way out the door... the indictments prevent Hunter from testifying before Congress about the Biden Crime Family's influence peddling (you know, that pesky Fifth Amendment right not to self-incriminate). So now the influence peddling gets buried, just one of many tricks to run out the clock...

The justice system will do its job, establish his guilt or innocence and any punishment. You know, like you don't want to happen to Trump.

Hunter will probably argue that the prosecution is unreasonable and targeted on him purely because of his surname; he paid his back taxes (two years ago) and it's extremely rare that someone gets indicted after that. Roger Stone, for example, failed to pay far more in taxes, but wasn't charged.
