u +1 ySeems like someone - again - fell for a really dumb hoax.
Quote: "Out of an abundance of caution, Judge Merchan alerted both sides in the case of the post which was a reply to a New York court system post on Facebook. MAGA adherents including politicians glommed onto the dubious post hoping for Trump’s conviction to be overturned.
As it turns out, the account belonged to an pro-MAGA internet troll. The troll admitted the now-deleted post was a low quality attempt to get an extreme reaction."https://meidasnews.com/news/desperate-trump-pushes-debunked-cousin-jury-hoax-calls-for-mistrial

Nothing was released early and there aren’t any procedural violations. Also Judge Merchan has an excellent reputation in the judicial community. You should invest the time to learn how to fact-check.
- +1 y
@DryGermanGuy They'll never accept it. its a cult
- +1 y
@OddBeMe @DryGermanGuy You people are gullible clowns with flawed "sources", just like every other far-left dingbat. The post on the New York Unified Court System website prior to the verdict DID occur. It's time stamped. It was all over the local New York City news. The local affiliates of CBS, NBC, FOX, and ABC all had the story, and the judge issued a letter to both sides confirming the post. Now there will be an investigation to see if the person that made the post actually had contact with one of the jurors prior to the verdict. If so, and it wasn't just some random person, it's absolutely grounds for a mistrial.

@NYCQuestions1976 my god! The horror! Wait…does that mean that all the research their sciences produce is wrong? No, I don’t think that matters when looking at what’s accredited (most often cited by experts).
- +1 y
@OddBeMe As usual, and like most liberal lemmings, you're conflating common sense (valuable) with education end expertise (subjective, based on the majors and topics, and on who's doing the teaching). Majoring in the study of whoopee cushions makes you an educated expert on whoopee cushions, but it doesn't make you any smarter or useful in everyday life. That example describes the vast majority of far-left liberals, socialists, and progressives in this country, and on the entire planet.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 Oh! You’re confused about what happens at a university! You’ve never been?
See there are students mostly. But also research done by highly accredited scientists and researchers. My Texas college is actually a big site for forensics research. And is mentioned a lot in true crime docs. - +1 y

@DryGermanGuy No. It was the Diet Soviet Union that colluded with Hillary Clinton's campaign and interfered on her behalf. Then Clinton had all of you liberal fools believing in Trump collusion nonsensical bullshit engineered by her and her campaign for 8 years.

As usual you are thoroughly confused about what took place. But worry not, because American intelligence services have published their findings. Just read the Muller report or anything official you can find about Operation Lakhta.

@DryGermanGuy I know exactly what transpired, unlike the nonsensical bullshit that far-left liberals, socialists, and progressives in the media and government want the general population to believe.
- +1 y
@DryGermanGuy If I were you (thankfully I'm not), I'd be focused on my own back yard. Voters in countries all over Europe (and also Argentina) are finally and rightfully rejecting far-left lunacy. The United States and Canada are next.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976
It’s your right to believe in a parallel universe of course. But everybody else with half a brain will refuse the idea of the big bad secret cabal that rigs elections, rigs courts, rigs the press, rigs the government and now even rigs the intelligence services just to keep a fat orange man from winning and making Murrica great again. 🤦♂️ - +1 y
By the way, you shouldn’t bring up Argentina as some sort of successful rightwing state transformation. Chances are, and this is my prediction, medium-term Milei will ruin the country to the point of the United States having to step in and prop them up with billions of dollars. Oh, the irony.
- +1 y
@DryGermanGuy Ever since he got elected in Argentina, Milei has cut inflation there at a record pace. Your prediction is worthless to anyone with common sense. Typical liberal. Just like a standard screwdriver with a worn-out tip: Completely useless, but still dangerous.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976
Typical American who doesn't really gets the foreign news. Do you know, that right now there are street riots in Argentina, including tear gas deployments because the Milei reforms put thousands and thousands of civil servants out of jobs and the current government pressed these policies through with the smallest majority imaginable? Any success there (and inflation is just one metric among dozens) REMAINS TO BE SEEN!
By the way, stop boring me with this "liberal" bullshit. I always was an independent/centrist. I vote for conservative candidates and parties probably more than for progressives. And as a bit of a public service - the liberal party in my country (FDP) has a program similar to the United States' GOP. - +1 y
@DryGermanGuy The only people rioting in Argentina are the now unemployed useless liberal government employees that were doing nothing but being paid by the taxpayers to waste taxpayer dollars. Hopefully after our election in November, the same useless liberals will be out of work here as well. Tiny government is always the answer.
Me calling you a liberal is based on your content that I've read on this site. My assessment stands. - +1 y
No, no and no. I disagree widely, even if not completely.
And - I said this months ago - it looks like a Joe Biden reelection in November. The polls have turned, slowly but surely, into his favor. Even the latest FOX poll has Biden ahead. Unless he completely screws up in the debates, this trend will only continue. - +1 y
@DryGermanGuy You're lost and delusional. All of the major betting outlets and sites have the current money line at Trump around -$100 (favorite), and Biden around +$175 (underdog). Here's one of many betting sites, and it has an even wider spread:

This looks more like it:
https://youtu.be/ME6Fl4cWIN8?si=a13lXdYh-YepYKfY - +1 y
@DryGermanGuy I'm fine with agreeing to disagree, and seeing what happens. Just remember, Trump usually outperforms polls, there's a reason that "Money talks, and bullshit walks." is a saying, and when it comes to betting, blue and red are irrelevant. It's only about the green, and professional bettors don't try to lose their green on purpose.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976
How is your metric to determine that Trump outperforms polls, though? He only did so in 2016, when the double-haters favored him over Clinton. He lost 2020 and his fringe MAGA candidates largely lost the 2018 and 2022 midterms. The House GOP self-sabotaged themselves into nothing.
People in the polls stated they wanted normalcy. How would they get that with a raving lunatic bent on revenge in the WH and incompetent kooks around him? - +1 y
@DryGermanGuy Biden currently has single-digit leads in New York, New Jersey, Minnesota, and Washington. These are all states he won by wide margins in 2020. He and Trump are virtually tied in Virginia, which is another state he won convincingly in 2020. Trump has had consistent leads in just about all of the swing states for months. Biden is also mentally and physically deteriorating in real time. Even CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC are talking about Biden's decline. On top of all of that, the money line is Trump around -$100, and Biden around -$175. I'm telling you, Trump is going to win in November, and it might not be close.
- +1 y
*Biden around +$175. My bad.

Yeah that's happening nowhere in reality. In fact, at different times during the trial and before the verdict, legal experts on CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC all said the case was vague and nonsensical. Yet all the pundits celebrated the verdict anyway.
The only things that are "slam dunk" are the procedural violations, legal violations, and Constitutional violations. Now there's this mistrial possibility. The case is going to be overturned unanimously by the Appellate Court, sometime during the first year of Trump's second term as President. - +1 y

All of these videos are from AFTER the verdict. They're all Jeffery Toobining themselves on television, just as I pointed out. PRIOR to the verdict, legal experts on CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC were all saying that the case was non-existent. Yet the pundits (along with all of the dumb far-left liberals, socialists, and progressives in this country) celebrate the verdict anyway. They're all prosecuting Trump right into his second term as President, and it's extremely fun to watch.
- +1 y

It's all good. Dumb far-left liberals, socialists, and progressives and their obsessions are methodically putting Trump back in the White House in November. I'm just enjoying the show. - +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 I intentionally selected fox channels because you bitchy trumpers call everything fake news.
Yeah.. cooper and team are discussing issues with the case. None say it’s a show trial. - +1 y
The entire trial was a sham and a farce. Procedurally, legally, and Constitutionally. The felony charges were magically invented from expired misdemeanors. That's one of the numerous reasons why the pursuit of it has backfired stupendously. All of the stupid far-left liberals, socialists, and progressives in this country are going to get Trump 400 electoral college votes in November. It's very entertaining.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 And your proof or source for this being “trumped up”? Cuz actual legal scholars say it’s not.
FYI, those same scholars are saying Trump will prob just be fined and given house arrest. Mostly because the secret service can’t operate in prison. Lol - +1 y
I've already pointed out that the "felonies" were magically conjured up from expired misdemeanors. That's a proven fact and a matter of record, and only the tip of the iceberg. If you choose to be obtuse and bury your head in the sand like every other obsessed leftist, that's on you. Using lawfare against Trump is going to get him elected again in November. It's entertaining to witness.

@NYCQuestions1976 Oddsmakers…do you have research on them? Serisously. Vegas is rich because oddsmakers are fucking morons.
- +1 y
@OddBeMe You're understanding the numbers backwards. The "-$100" means the favorite, and you've only got to bet $100 to win an additional $100 (total $200). The "+$178" means the underdog, and you've got to put up $178 to win $100 (total $278).
www.forbes.com/.../
In this moneyline scenario, Trump is the favorite to win, and Biden is the underdog. - +1 y
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 Odds aren’t in dollars fuckweed. thats what the math trying to predict the election is saying. The odds…aka likelihood.
you're fucking stupid. Can’t read your own dipshit link - +1 y
@OddBeMe Have you lost your tiny fucking mind? They don't always put the $ because they don't expect dummies (you) needing to be spoon-fed the rules. It's called betting the MONEY LINE instead of the POINT/RUN/GOAL SPREAD. A football example:
Point spread lines:
Away @ (-6.5) Home.
(The home team is 6½ point favorites.)
Away @ (+6.5) Home.
(The home team is 6½ point underdogs.)
Money lines:
Away (+150) @ Home (-100)
(The home team is the favorite, and you need to put up $100 to win $100.)
Away (-100) @ Home (+150)
(The home team is the underdog, and you need to put up $150 to win $100.)
In the Presidential election race, Trump (-100) is the favorite, and Biden (+178) is the underdog. - +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 lol, this is crazy. Maybe you’re stuck on home or away games. Anyway, gamblers rarely get rich for a reason.
- +1 y
@OddBeMe Per the other thread:
The current line is Trump -$100 (favorite), Biden +178 (underdog). That means you need to place a $100 wager on Trump to win $100, but you need to place a $178 wager on Biden to win the same $100.
Yes, Vegas and other gambling establishments make billions. However, if you've ever paid attention to NFL point spreads when they first come out, the lines jump around a lot for the first 48 hours or so, before settling down later in the week. It's because they all want as close to even money on both sides of the spread as possible, and they don't want gigantic underdog payouts happening frequently, like when the Giants, at around 12 to 14 point underdogs, outright beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl after the 2007 season:
www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs07/news/story?id=3232876
Money lines work similarly. If a favorite and an underdog are close, the money line would be something like "Favorite -$100, Underdog +$110". The bigger the spread between the two money numbers, the bigger the favorite, and the bigger the underdog:
www.predictem.com/.../
So even though there are no election point spreads, the current money line (Trump -$100, Biden +$178) tells an important two-part story: With 4½ months to go before the election, Trump is the current favorite, and it's actually not that close. - +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 you are right on the bettors spread. I was looking at it backwards.
I still dont see a Vegas betting circuit as well founded evidence of a Trump win. Have they a history of picking presidential winners? - +1 y
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 any evidence of this? Cuz animals do it with surprising accuracy:
english.alarabiya.net/.../Meet-the-professor-town-and-mystical-animals-predicting-Trump-as-US-president - +1 y
@OddBeMe What do you mean? The money lines and the betting trends leading up to this election and previous elections are the evidence. You're being quick to dismiss this. With polls, pundits, politicians, and the voting public, it's about blue and red. When it comes to betting, blue and red are irrelevant. It's only about the green. There's a reason that "Money talks, and bullshit walks." is a saying.
- +1 y
@NYCQuestions1976 sure, there’s always good evidence and bad evidence. I’m asking.. what are stats on bettor rates? Is it better than 50/50 over the last half century?
- +1 y
Typical liberal. When confronted to provide credible proof, you deflect with an even more ignorant comment. You're nothing more than a puppet regurgitating false sound bites that your media spoon-feeds you. How about you actually try doing some real research for a change? It may help you look less stupid. You prove liberals are beyond willfully ignorant and intellectually lazy.

- +1 y
@PreferNot2Say get all the non sequitur name calling out? Ready to answer the question I asked?
Does a bettor’s ratio have any history of accuracy? - +1 y
@OddBeMe I'm not sure that you'll have any success finding any records prior to the start of the 21st century. Widespread gambling outside of places like Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and a few exceptions here and there, and online domestic betting sites have only started to be legal in the last decade or so, and political gambling, like marijuana in many states and jurisdictions, is "decriminalized", and not full-on "legal". I'm pretty sure that political gambling has been legal in the United Kingdom for a while now.
- +1 y

Trump was run over by them and will be again, they know he's a temporary nuisance who they can crush. All they care about right now is prosecuting this war against Putin, they know the empire is crumbling, de-dollarization and BRICS are going to shift so much wealth out of the US they are in a panic.
