I believe men should just stay out of women's-only spaces, period. That means bathrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, definitely showers, and especially women's sports. The reason is simple... Men's sports are designed for one thing: To create the most competitive environment possible. Women's sports however were designed to LIMIT the competition as much as possible, because (on average) men are far stronger, faster, and more powerful than women, and we female athletes cannot compete against men. Whether they wear makeup and dresses or not. However, I honestly could not care less if Trans-women or big muscular, hairy men compete in beauty pageants, or if beauty pageants just disappear forever. Except for the fact that they would be changing in front of the women, which would make them uncomfortable.

I think judging anyone based strictly on their appearance is antiquated and needs to stop. But if it does keeps going, fine. Allow anyone to join in. If men can be more beautiful women, than even women can, so be it! I guess it proves that men are better at everything, even being women!

Personally, I am best friends with a trans-woman, who pisses me off precisely b/c she does often look better than I do. (Sorry Madison, but you do!). I would not want my friend Maddie, to be allowed to enter a women's beauty contest, if for no other reason than the fact that she would be changing with the other contestants, and they might feel uncomfortable being in a state of undress in front of someone with a penis!

I'm fine with undressing in front of Maddie because I’ve known her since 7th grade, before she even came out to us as transgender, and began her transition. There is a huge difference between chancing in front of a best friend you trust with your life, and a stranger you just met! At least my friend is not deluded enough to believe she is a biological female! She knows that she is a biological male, and she knows that she cannot change in front of women she does not know, b/c she'll make them feel uncomfortable.

Most importantly, as a person w/ gender dysphoria, the LAST thing she wants, is to EVER be seen (even by us) completely naked because the one part of her body she hates the most is her penis! Why would she ever want to show that off to strangers? That's what make me so suspicious about all of these so-called trans athletes, we hear about in the news, none of them seem to have ANY issue appearing naked, with their "flag at full staff". Maddie, a person with a diagnosed case of gender dysphoria, would NEVER do anything even remotely close to that!

So while I do not care one iota about beauty pageants, I do care about the young women who would be forced to get naked or partially naked in front of a male! It's just not fair to them! As for the competition itself... Yeah, I really don’t care about beauty pageants!

And to those who will say that it's different since drag shows are a specified contest and female beauty pageants like Miss Universe aren't, I would say that these pageants are supposed to celebrate womanhood and capture the complete essence of being a woman which only a biological woman could fully understand.

I'll tell you why they shouldn't.

Beauty pageants are something many people hate because in reality they are attraction pageant.
It's not a measure of pure beauty that doesn't take a jury just a measure tape and an eye for symmetry.
It measures the contestants ability to appeal to the audience and they jury. Illicit a loving reaction.

But these emotions are not decoupled from lust. Meaning the audience expects to have desires towards the people.

Back when it was gender locked that was easy. Men would watch women and gravitate toward the one they found to be the most beautiful inside and out.
Women would do the same in men's pageants.

When you let a trans in you're essentially letting a man in the lineup.
Meaning no straight man will ever even consider him for any kinda beauty standard whatsoever. The lust is simply not there.

Then a jury ends up letting him win to virtue signal how progressive and inclusive they are (or pretend to be) and that causes the outrage.

Women lose unfairly after having competed very hard. And men feel cheated because whoever they rooted for lost.
(Same thing would work the other way around but that happens way less often because men's pageants are often a muscle showcase and practical no bio woman can build as much muscle as a peak physical shape bio man)

Fuck no and what a disgusting world we're turning into. I strongly believe that when you decide to go trans or be a drag queen or whatever, you should forfeit your rights to participate in female or male only competitions and sports. They should have a trans/drag category.

On a side note, women that dislike the idea of beauty pageants live in a delusional world where they think that people should not be attracted to outward appearance at all. They're the same ones that don't like working out or eating healthy.
