We actually know what Egyptians looked like circa 300 BC thanks to Fayum mummy portraits. Varied from fair to dark brown. Google Fayum.
But 300 BC s not ancient Egypt. DNA evdience is the best we have and it seems to be Levantine. There would have been black people in Egypt but it is not true to say Egyptians were black.
What is black needs to be defined. Congo black? Dark brown? Light brown? Olive skin?

No, they were Mediterranean, like their descendants, the modern Coptic people. We can see this in their tomb art, and in the genes of the mummies they left behind.
