According the U. S. Census Bureau,  yes , but actual Egyptians disagree . This is the problem when trying to impose the flawed, limited, way-outdated American White/Colored-standard, as though the world (with its newcomers' to the Union) were in obvious, binary black & white.

Our bodies adapt over time. Even if they originated as white people, they probably would have evolved to a skin color more suitable for the hot climate. Even if that wasn't the case, their skin would tan, so if they were white, they definitely wouldn't look it.

We have to be specific about eras. If we're talking Moses era, they would have a distinct head shape , but be middle brown. If we're talking Cleopatra, most of the population would be displaced Greeks. They'd look little different from a Greek of that time, complete with Hellenization of architecture taking root.

If we're talking modern Egypt, there's a lot of displacement from middle eastern nations. Egyptians today look like Iranians, Iraqis, Syrians , etc. But are generally better behaved. Tut's mom could've looked like any of those. What is clear, is that Egyptians never looked like Ethiopians. So the "We was kangz" meme that was popular around the time Black Panther hit theaters... was total BS.

The Mediterranean peoples were, and are, Caucasian. They are not "Nordic White", "Germanic White" or "Celtic White", but yes, they are "off-White", for want of a better term. Sure, there are some very swarthy North Africans, the late Anwar Sadat comes to mind, but a lot of Egyptians look like actor Rami Malek.

No. They would be dark, or at least very tan. In Egypt, the climate is generally hot and dry, except for around the northern Mediterranean coast, where it would rain during winter. So that means it was sunny. Being exposed to all this sunlight would tan the skin, especially if they were working outside most of the time.

Ancient Egyptians were probably colored like modern Mediterranean people are today, with a fair bit of variation.

No... The original Egyptians are somewhere between dark.. Mediterraneans... And middle easterns... They have this unique look that combines all of those.. Probably because Egypt is like literally in the center of the world just look at the map... I think I'm like pure Egyptian I guess if I did a DNA test I would come full Egyptian not Arab or turkish ( my name is turkish lol ) or European mixed.. I asked my parents they told me they don't remember a grandparent from another ethnicity
