If you answered "NO" to both, Would you ever volunteer to do Community Service? Why or why not?

For myself: I try to volunteer for Community Service on a daily basis. It's very important to give back to your community so that it can continue to grown and expand. We have to leave the earth 🌎 in a better condition so that our children can be successful in their future endeavors.

I work in our church's Food Pantry each week. We make up boxes of food- canned, boxed, fresh- bags of frozen meats- bags of breads/bagels- usually a sweet treat (we actually get "ruined" $36.99 cakes from Whole Foods where the frosting might get a tiny bit smeary- nope- can't sell that- that = "ruined" in our screwball society! We serve about 48-65 families a week. They drive through our church portico and each of us loads his/her item- food box, meat, bread bag, etc- and drive through. Usually able to do up to 60 within 45 minutes or so, a little slower in the winter.

My wife and I handle the day-to-day in our church library.

We will be helping at a "food packing day" at Feed My Starving Children.

I'm ready to move to Tennessee. But why? It's the Volunteer State.

Forgot one. I helped to build a Zenith701 (bush plane from a kit) that is now used by a missionary in Africa. Worked on riveting, painting, helped engrave and mount console signage, and pull wires- LOTS of wires!

Yes and yes. I help with community events as often as possible. Especially fundraiser events for people with chronic diseases, like MS. I prefer to donate more these days though, because I have more money than time at the moment. And the courts have ordered me three times to do community service for various criminal convictions. It was treated more as punishment than an actual service to anyone.

Volunteered because a friend I had was forced to and wouldn't have done the community service if I hadn't stepped in to do it with him.

He needed the help I was in a position to help. Those with the ability to help have a moral responsibility to help those less fortunate in whatever capacity they can.

I've done it but only cause my mom made me do it. Now that I'm older I just kept up with the tradition. So I do it every year

I do a lot of Volunteer work within my community. I do it because I believe that it makes the community a better place to live when people give more than they take.
