Would you take a "cheater" back if said cheating wasn't cheating but they were sexually assaulted or raped?

Thank God I've never been around this. I've never cheated on anyone. Though I've been through sexual assault, because what happened to me can't be considered rape, even though it was.

But here is the scenario, would you take a partner back if said cheating was not actually cheating, it was rhemm being the victim of sexual assault or rape?

I'm curious. In my own example, while I was single, I was at a party, had a good time, had a bit too much to drink, so I decided, with the hostess's permission, to sleep it off on the couch. I woke up to one of her guests attempting to "ride" me. I put a stop to it, she called me gay. If I weren't single at the time, if i were with someone, I'd hope that she would be understanding. But I see it as unlikely because a lot of women believe men can't be raped, sexually assaulted, or abused for that matter.
