In the USA you have the right to wear what you want, dress how you want, call yourself a princess if you want. You can wear a name tag with your preferred pronouns on it if you want. But your wishes stop there. A person cannot expect the rest of the world to participate in their fantasy. But in 300 years if your bones are dug up, scientists will still say you were either a male or female based off your DNA markers. Until they discover new DNA markers that indicate another sex than what you were born as, you are what you are at birth. No amount of surgeries or clothing outfits will change that. But I will fight for your right to live your life as you please, just don’t expect others to indulge your delusional desires. Accept folks as they are. If they play your game fine, if not, understand that as well.

There actually are some DNA markers that get confusing; There's a woman on YouTube who was born with a deformed vagina that kinda has a penis inside it as well. Additionally she has testes inside of her (though they do not work). She was born with XXY as her chromosomes. If you remember your Chromosomes (DNA), XX = Female, XY = Male.

She goes by female, but she's equally male. When they dig her up, the genetic markers will not identify what she was beyond saying 'both'. I don't know about you, but that would absolutely stump the f* outta me!

The only thing is that transgender people must go through a process of spending 1 year 'as the other sex' before the shrink will give them the sign off to go under the knife.

We had one when I worked for Hess gas station, where I was an assistant mgr. 'His' name was Trent, but they were born as Aubrey. My manager couldn't remember to call them Trent, or use 'he/ him'. She could have been fired with an HR issue, and I got put on notice to keep reminder my manager to correct the issue.

In a group question like this it's a bit different, but I refuse to fill it in on forms, put it on my bio or on my CV.

I don't even like to put that I'm "disabled" on job applications as it changes how my application is processed (I'm an amputee) unless it would have a bearing on my ability to do the job.

I don't tell pronouns. I'm 6' tall, 240lbs and have a beard. If you can't work it out that I'm a guy there's no hope for you!

I would agree to call people by the NAME they want to be called. But if I know someone to be of a particular sex, I'll refuse to call them by the wrong "pronoun". I'd sooner use the words "this person" or "this individual"
