World War 3 has been going on for a while. It has just been a cold world war.

[Theodoricus]

The calm before the storm.

[normalice]

There was nothing calm about it, to some people..

[SweetJoyGirl]

No!

Why is everyone saying there will be a war? 😭

[SweetJoyGirl]

It is just grown adults in diapers fighting about political power. 😭

[Theodoricus]

I hope you're right. But the entire world prepares for world war 3.

[SweetJoyGirl]

😭😭😭

Because it's looking increasingly likely that there will be. There already IS, in Ukraine, and the rebels are looking ever more hungrily at China. The American empire- always more of a commercial and cultural than military one- is teetering on the brink of collapse, but the same is true of all the major powers- Russia STILL can't build an economy that's not based on selling natural resources, China's got a looming population implosion on top of being an environmental nightmare, much of western Europe is turning into authoritarian hellholes...

And now Putin's claiming that a captured American cluster bomb missile (given to the Ukrainians) exploded while being transported and hit civilian areas (pretty damned rich, considering what HE'S done, but still), and saying there will be consequences to the US. In response to these very tense situations, in November the US will choose between a rogue player who might well invade Maryland, and a drooling vegetable.

@NamerOfStars Lord have mercy on us all. 🫠🫠🫠

We can but hope.

In World War Two there was a period known as the Phoney war. Possibly we are sitting in that period now. The election of Trump may actually push us into WW3.
