These are two completely separate topics, but being against immigration (legal and illegal are completely separate topics too) has been a concept in every country in the history of human civilization, so it's not going anywhere. And with Trump talking about wanting record levels of legal immigration, I don't think the actual anti-immigration people would suddenly support immigration if Trump were gone.

For the Russia stuff, that will go away when the war ends or if the Dems switch to supporting Russian over Ukraine. Republicans and Democrats just support the opposite of whatever the other party is doing.

No. Trump is just a useful idiot in all of this. The real culprits are the vast network of billionaire funded far right think tanks like heritage, the Federalist society, etc. They are the ones aligned with Russian authoritarian philosophy and will keep pushing for it no matter what, because that is the only purpose to their entire career.
