Trump is responsible for the evolution of the GOP. It is no longer just the party of the rich. He has included working class Americans and people who want their piece of the American dream. He opened it up to people of all races and vocations. Union guys used to be strictly democrats but now most of them (except the teachers) have become Trump supporters. Also 90% of small business owners have supported President Trump.

I think though Hitler's name is remembered, most people think of it as the era of Fascism. But I think for us, the issue is that trump has changed everything about how the government officials can conduct their business.

He is showing that you can be completely corrupt in a democracy. . . and get away with it, simply because you can get 35% of the vote.

This is causing folks to question whether or not capitalism is a valid economic model and whether democracy is even worth the effort. Because you end up with the same thing, state run media, corporate/government alliances, and totalitarianism.
