Trending & News Culture wars go back and forth. The far left stuff is winning right now, but that just creates a pushback. Especially as gen A will start to rebel against society. And especially with some of current far left ideology being unpalatable even to Democrats. In 20 years, the force will have gone the other direction and we'll be dealing with more existencial worries than whether or not kindergartners should learn about gay sex or whether males should be treated like females if they personally identify as one.
There's nothing stopping you from "dealing with more existencial worries" today. There's only an argument because people like you prefer to lie about what the other side wants "kindergartners should learn about gay sex" than having a reasonable conversation.
Be more like this lady, Courtney Gore, who campaigned and won on a platform of misinformation, only to find that "The pervasive indoctrination she had railed against simply did not exist. Children were not being sexualized, and she could find no examples of critical race theory, an advanced academic concept that examines systemic racism. She’d examined curriculum related to social-emotional learning, which has come under attack by Christian conservatives who say it encourages children to question gender roles and prioritizes feelings over biblical teachings. Instead, Gore found the materials taught children “how to be a good friend, a good human.”"

"Citing “small town, conservative Christian values,” she pledged to inspect educational materials for inappropriate messages about sexuality and race and remove them from every campus in the 7,700-student Granbury Independent School District, an hour southwest of Fort Worth. “Over the years our American Education System has been hijacked by Leftists looking to indoctrinate our kids into the ‘progressive’ way of thinking, and yes, they’ve tried to do this in Granbury ISD,” she wrote in a September 2021 Facebook post, two months before the election. “I cannot sit by and watch their twisted worldview infiltrate Granbury ISD.”"
I stopped at the first paragraph because you started with blatant lies so I know the rest of a bunch of bullshit too. Sorry your feelings got hurt over something we can both verify in five seconds. Act like an adult and control your emotions if you want to have a conversation with adults.
LMAO. Something like "Some children have a mummies and a daddy, others have just one or the other and sometimes it's daddy and daddy, or mummy and mummy" is not teaching "about gay sex", it's explaining situations they might come into contact with.
"Act like an adult"? You condescending asshat.
Again with the dishonest response. There are countless people talking about comprehensive sex ed started in kindergarten and including homosexuality. But you knew that, and that's why you had to lie. Funny you call me condescending when that was obviously how you were in just one paragraph. So yeah, act like an adult. And try lying less.
Less woke - especially if Trump wins.
We'll have to see if Trump gets another term. Racism, homophobia etc was rampant his first time and it will be again if he wins. It may take decades to recover from all the progress the country had made that he reversed. His cult has grown so much that it may destroy America for the next four years if there are no longer enough free-thinking people and a worthy alternative candidate. They'll cancel anything that disagrees with them because they've become the enemy of personal freedoms.
either a lot more woke or a lot less woke, depends who has the power

Hopefully less, in that there will be no need to be aware of pervasive bigotry any more. The number of Americans saying gay relationships are morally wrong has more than halved in the last 20 years. The same should happen for transexuality and asexuality. People are people, it's fixed beliefs that are dangerous.
Hopefully not less because the country has become Gilead from the Handmaid's Tale, where nobody can voice an opinion against the rulers. That's a very real possiblility with Project 2025 and this Supreme Court majority of liars, bribe takers, and insurrectionist supporters who should be impeached.
So, I'll vote not sure, but hopeful.
Great question. I predict that woke won't even be a thing. When I was a kid we had this joke book called 'Truly Tasteless Jokes.' It was the most horrendous homophobic, racist joke book ever, and yet it was an acceptable part of the culture to own a copy and even memorize a few of them. You could make fund of WASPs, Poles, Blacks, even retards and no one cared. So, think about it, you've probably never even heard of that book. So, yeah, in 20 years no one will have heard of Woke.
Woke is a buzz word used by the right wing to stoke baseless outrage. “Oh my God Hershey bars are WOKE”…. Who cares? “Oh my God beers are WOKE”… Who cares?
If you like the thing, enjoy the product, have fun with the memories associated why wouldn’t you keep buying it?
Nike & Volkswagen has potential child / slave labor in China warehouses and don’t do anything to stop it. I don’t hear people having outrage against that OR Nestle’s milk formula disaster. I only hear outrage when it involves transgender, women, or African Americans…. How about actually have a reason to get mad instead of being a dog whistled sheeple?
Sorry but you're wrong. "Woke" is a real term with a real meaning.
From Wikipedia:
Woke is a political slang adjective derived from African-American Vernacular English (AAVE) originally meaning alertness to racial prejudice and discrimination.[1] Beginning in the 2010s, it came to encompass a broader awareness of social inequalities such as racial injustice, sexism, and denial of LGBT rights. Woke has also been used as shorthand for some ideas of the American Left involving identity politics and social justice, such as white privilege and reparations for slavery in the United States.[2][3][4]
The phrase stay woke has been present in AAVE since the 1930s. In some contexts, it referred to an awareness of social and political issues affecting African Americans. The phrase was uttered in recordings from the mid-20th century by Lead Belly and, post-millennium, by Erykah Badu.

@pointlessnonsenseguy
You are either forgetting or are denying the fact that in the criticism category it is said, “Writer and activist Chloé Valdary has stated that the concept of being woke is a "double-edged sword" that can "alert people to systemic injustice" while also being "an aggressive, performative take on progressive politics that only makes things worse".[3]”
WOKE simply isn’t an excuse to hate or not support something. When I showcase real world issues or real world solutions based on everything around me I’m labeled as “woke” and nothing else can be discussed….
Real world example: Upton Sinclair’s book The Jungle was by a Liberal author using photographs & examples of the horrors of child labor also indirectly the horrors of the meat packing industry of what awful contaminants are ending up in our food. Theodore Roosevelt heard public outrage about the meat packing industry and ignored it at first due to him being Conservative & Upton Sinclair being a Liberal…. President Roosevelt soon sent govt officials to investigate and found out the truth which prompted him to pushing change to the meat packing industry which undermined his work since Sinclair was trying to showcase the horrors of child labor… “I aimed at the public’s heart, and by accident I hit it in the stomach”. Point is, Theodore Roosevelt put bias aside and listened to rationality which led to investigations into the meat packing industry. I want more people to use less buzz words and actually explain key issues.
It's. A. Real. Word.
The fact that some people use it as a term of praise, and other people use it as a term of criticism, doesn't make it any less real.
But whether you use the word favorably or unfavorably, we all know what it means.
By your standard, "conservative" isn't a real word either, since some people use it as a term of praise, and others as a term of criticism.
Well, "woke" doesn't mean anything, really. It's just what the right calls anything that stands in the way of white christian nationalism to whip up the culture warriors into voting against their own self interest. So, it just depends on how successful they are by then.
It actually does mean something though.

The term woke gained further popularity in the 2010s. Over time, it became increasingly connected to matters beyond race such as gender and identities perceived as marginalized. During the 2014 Ferguson protests, the phrase was popularized by Black Lives Matter (BLM) activists seeking to raise awareness about police shootings of African Americans. After the term was used on Black Twitter, woke was increasingly used by white people, who often used it to signal their support for BLM; some commentators criticized this usage as cultural appropriation. The term became popular with millennials and members of Generation Z. As its use spread internationally, woke was added to the Oxford English Dictionary in 2017.

So a word is only real if everyone agrees to use it the way you want it used?
It will probably be somewhat equally bad but perhaps in some other ways.
America probably won't exist at least outside of being a hunk of land
I'm not sure America is gonna get that far
