Christian nationalism is a political ideology and cultural framework that merges Christian and American identities, threatening democracy and religious freedom in the process. Christian nationalism is also a highly-funded and well-organized movement that uses the symbols and language of Christianity as political props in service of gaining and maintaining power. The movement’s goal is to transform the secular nature of democracy into an authoritarian theocracy. Some people believe that Christian nationalism is the single greatest threat to religious freedom in the United States today.

I don't think any religion should be imposed but I would be in favor of it just because the left has taken away all of our institutions that gave children any values, religion, families, schools. Which is why we as a society are in the situation we are today.

Having a Christian nation in the past meant people of all religions had the freedom to believe what they wanted, and all religions have a foundation of values, morals and ethics which is absent today.

Why do people who post these controversial questions always force a public answer?

I hate all extreme nationalism, don’t care the religion or the people. It is wrong.

Being Patriotic is different than being a Nationalist, some people hide Nationalism behind the curtain of Patriotism. Patriotism is holding up the Union and wanting to preserve it also holding the Constitution up as the standard of American law also the great American experiment.

Christian Nationalists are NOT American if they hold their Church close to the State. Not what the founders wanted or what the Constitutional law agrees with.

@Dargil The First Amendment is about the freedom of worship... it says little about one religion (Cristian in the above case) being the dominant religion in government. This is a totally different issue. Religion should have no place in the exercise of government.
