It’s going to be a similar reason guys are involved in most ‘fist’ fights, guys are most involved in knife attacks and shootings.
We have very limited numbers of shootings here and I believe all are guys doing the shooting, latest one was a crossbow.

Guys tend to be more likely to own a firearm or knife etc, they also will be more likely (those that are) to using extreme violence as a solution. If a firearm was not available, then it would crossbow, sword, axe, knife or simply their hands n feet. They will likely chose what is more available and react accordingly.

men and women are no different in terms of mindsets and desires and even mental health

women don't like getting their hands dirty even when they want to which is why abortions are performed mostly by male doctors to alleviate any guilt from the woman and have the male doctor take on all the guilt for himself even though she gave him the greenlight to do so

if AOC, Kamala Harris and Hilary Clinton wanted something done right they'd get men to do their dirty work for them and have the men take accountability for those actions while they can play plausible deniability

Because men aren't capable of thinking things through. It's the same reason men commit the most crimes or have the most accidents.

We all get angry about stuff but before a woman acts she thinks of the consequences of her actions, not only to herself but to her family, and anyone who might get caught up in it. Men aren't that smart, they see things in black and white and unfortunately gun nuts see their gun as a solution to lifes problems.

I think its easier to get a man to do it, women are to compassionate for the victim while men can think more closely with their logical brain. Logical thinking is usually a benefit, except when the person is delusional then its very dangerous.
