No. It happens all the time. The only difference is that it's the Internet age and the video went viral. And it's the Internet age and people got nothing better to do than come up with all kinds of convoluted explanations for what happened.

It's pretty damn simple. There are millions of people who hate the president, any president. A high percentage want to kill him. Some of them actually try. There is nothing unusual about it. There have been attempts, or at least serious plans, against EVERY president in my lifetime, and probably all the presidents before that.

Not really. He rapes and we go "meh." He steals an election and we go "meh." He tries to overthrow the government and we go "meh." He separates children from their parents and we go "meh.".. We can also pull a "meh" when he gets grazed with a bullet, I'm sure.
