I’ve been a hooters girl for 4 months and I’m stuck working here. I know Spanish and Latina but My skills are still down to cooking for sexist men in a kitchen. It’s biden and trump fault. Any tips for a better career?

All I will say is, This isn’t a political question… It is just a complaint about life then using that individual frustration to blame two people who have no direct impact on the economy…

Except Donald Trump has promised to push tariffs on imports which has a historical negative impact on consumers since it means that you’ll be paying MORE for LESS quantities of said product shipped overseas for you to enjoy involving food, electronics, toys, clothes, etc. then the mass deportations will have a negative impact too since less low skilled work force and no one to replace that demand since natural born Americans are going into high skilled labor utilizing what they learned in college.

The economy will definitely be impacted by those two factors, though Trump & Biden didn’t have an affect really during their respective administrations unless you count Trump not doing anything about the Covid19 Pandemic to give workers the courage to work outside the home which negatively impacted the economy which later rose inflation / shrinkflation into the Biden administration. If you look at economic charts, you’ll see inflation beginning to rise right before Biden took office.

Let me tell you, I too lost several IT jobs for stupid reasons (countries starting wars, economy failing) and couldn't get a new job for 2 months. I have almost 10 years of EXP in it already and I still sleep on a mattress on the floor.

Jobs are a systematic "scam". Those will never yield enough money.

I've started swing trading contracts (CFDs) and i've been doing that for over a year now. It's basically "gambling" your money on price movements of stocks, crypto, commodities, metals and stuff and you'll either gain or lose money from these movements. Although I see some returns I have yet to withdraw anything.

The economy is pure shit nowadays , I was laid off in January of this year and having such a hard time landing a job , I have applied to over 400 jobs and barely getting any call backs , if I do it’s just another shot in the dark, that goes nowhere. I worked in IT for 30 years. It was only after I lost my job because of covid in 2020 that I had a problem finding a new job. I finally got a new jobs, You just need to keep looking for a new job. I just retired but I still get plenty of head hunters calling me or emailing me about a new job. There are jobs out there.

The job market is great right now, especially in IT. Unemployment is at 4.1%. There's no reason you should be working at Hooters if you want a better job. Just go get one.
