What are the major risks to a Trump 2.0 Presidency?

I see a real risk of more substantial conflict with Iran. They have a grudge (assassination of their military leader), a nuclear weapons program. Would they get "aggressive"... it be suicidal, but would they attempt a major terrorist strike as paybacks?

Antifa/blm/social violence re-emerges as he cracks down?

What else?

The end of the United States of America as a democracy , which will give way, progressively, to an increasingly authoritarian conservative state similar to Putin's Russia, using the "woke and the left" excuse to put everything in place without people complaining.

Putin's authoritarian state took years of small political trangressions to develop. This is the same stuff here. Just think about how Trump was back in 2016 and how much more radical he and his supporters are now.

In 2016, a loooooong list of known figures within the republican party condemned Trump for what he was back then: a liar, a fan of political violence at his rallies, a sexist, a loudmouth idiot. That was all, but that used to be more than enough.

He still is all of these things, but all of this seem so trivial now that he's thoroughly proven to be an incompetent president, now that he is a convicted felon, the inciter of an attack against American democracy (Jan. 6), a man opposed to freedom of press, an avowed admirer of dictators, a promoter of conspiracy theories, a racist, a rapist and an idiot who's shown contempt for justice and america's political system as a whole.

As for wars, a lot of people predicted he'd start a war the last time around. It turns out he was probably the most peaceful US president in the last hundred years. Even before he started I never believed he'd start a war. He's an international businessman. Businessmen don't like wars.

Project 2025 originated from social media, it isn't real. Project 2025 would face immediate opposition from Congress, the Senate, the Supreme Court, and others. Why would Trump advocate for this project knowing full well it has no chance of passing? Your argument is flawed; it's a logical fallacy to dismiss everything Trump says or simply label it as 'lying' just because you personally dislike him.

If you're doing research, I encourage you to do it right. Upon my investigation, the pictures you sent appear to be from Popular Information, as seen by their watermark. Popular Information tends to lean towards left-leaning perspectives, often anti-Trump. While they do report accurately on many matters, their approach is always biased.

But I think the fascists weren't really expecting to win and so weren't prepared to really push their agenda through the US government while Republicans controlled all three branches.
