I think this is true. Especially if women are the only ones who get an opinion on abortion.. Which before some feminist bitches about that, I do agree that abortion and the laws around it should reside only with women. It's her body her choice.. Same with going to war, it should be his body his choice and women should not, and do not deserve a vote on it.

Women can also be drafted according to a federal panel of judges some years ago - all the democrats voted in favor but they practically had to bribe a republican to vote for it to get it to pass. But that was rendered moot somehow based on the draft being postponed in general, or something like that.

The draft is irrelevant as so many men in America are too obese to be drafted and if America went to war tomorrow and needed the draft the law would be changed that day to draft women too. Remember in WW2 Britain and the Soviet Union drafted women too.

Just because you are drafted doesn't mean you will go to fight in the frontlines.

The reason is the bottleneck of pregnancy. If a country loses even a quarter of its women, that country is doomed to collapse even after victory in war. That's how it's always been since the beginning of warfare.

Also realistically there will never be another draft after vietnam war. moral needs to be high and that comes from people wanting to join.
