Do you think people having the ability to vote Democrat is a worse than 1-2 billion dollars in damages from multiple riots?

So me and another guy on this site have had a argument today, inspiring me to make this question.

Multiple BLM riots with arson, vandalism and looting between May 26 - June 8 2020 resulted in $1–2 billion in insured damages nationally, the highest recorded damage from civil disorder in U. S. history.

1 protest on Jan 6 2021, people supposedly calls a coup, and resulted in a supposedly failed attempt to steal democracy, had such good results Americans now in 2024 can vote Democrat. Or Republican if they wish to do so.

Which of these events do you think had the worse results?

Failing to steal the presidency doesn't make attempting to steal it OK, same as failing to rob a bank. No amount of riots under cover of BLM could possibly have overthrown the government and American democracy, Jan 6 could have.

Trump's lies (which he'd foreshadowed in 2016, before his surprise win) that elections were fixed have been repeated for every election that his side lost, but are remarkably missing when his side wins. Jan 6 and the "Green Bay Sweep" were an attempted coup, and today's SCOTUS is arguably the most corrupt in American history.

A president is not above the law, even when in office. They're allowed leeway by their successors for actions taken in the interests of the nation. They should never be allowed to get away with crimes that only benefit themselves.

The January 6th civil war attempt was organized and directed. Everyone who showed up showed up with violence in their hearts and minds.

The BLM protests were 99% peaceful - not that they were peaceful 99% of the time but of the thousands of BLM protests, 99% of them were 100% peaceful. You just use the narrative of rampant BLM violence to justify the political violence you want so bad, whether blm is violent or not. That's all.
