Got to respectfully disagree. I agree that domestic order is or could be construed as very broad but there are some basic requirements that need to be enumerated other than defense. I posted somewhere else asking how your cat was, is all okay?

I got mixed feelings about this. On one end tech and AI can put people out of work but on the other end capitalism drives innovation.

What I do have a very serious problem is corporatism. That is when the government works hand in glove with major corporations to force ideologies and dictates while rewarding corporations with special contracts, tax breaks, etc.

I do know Biden’s administration forced “equity and inclusion” mandates on major corporations and if they don’t adhere to that bullshit they can get delisted from stock exchanges.

Yes it is, which is creating new anxiety (FOMO among the younger gens and "Keeping Up" stress among the older gens). So called gov't "regulation" will most likely lead to more of a jambalaya situation than we already have going.

When folks realize that tech is here FOR US and we just have to LEARN it -- stay on top of the root coding and protocols needed to make the hardware/software/apps/ai function, we'll realize that these professional/academic/lifestyle tools aren't set up to run without human supervision... so BE the one who is smart and capable enough to provide reliable human supervision.

It does what the EU, Australia and others are doing draft or update existing laws, legislation, regulations on tech, specifically software, cyber. Also a lot of existing legislation does cover emerging tech as it often needs approval to get to market.

Tbh a lot is emerging tech and capabilities. It can take 5 years to draft a law, in the mean time tech has changed. 5 years ago would you have thought a government doing laws for AI in any shape useful?
