Why does it feel like the USA control the Internet?

Question

As a Canadian, I get annoyed a lot when I'm searching something up to receive USA results; if I'm looking for a show coming to Netflix, I would have to Google, "when are Pokemon Master Journeys coming to Canadian Netflix," because if I say Netflix then it will bring me to information about USA Netflix and it annoys me sometimes

Not just Netflix
But when I'm searching news and such it will first bring up USA news and then Canadian news

Just feel like USA get everything first also when it comes to release dates for streaming

It is aslo still working to insert a z of picture in a video. CIA has a research that characterisitic of each nation. So it is like z is prohibited by ukraine but that does not meaning for you does not it? and it is weired that is even not russian.
So this can hide in another nation to provocative another and they know idiots dont work so they behead a leader like iran's and those symbols are hidden not weird it is around us just American habit and thought. So you know that you know why americans are afraid of it.

By and large, we do. Why? For the same reason Jews control Hollywood: we built it. We maintain it (not EVERY server is in the US, but most of them still are). We're the single biggest chunk of content creators for it (and we STILL make the majority of the porn). Why wouldn't we run it?

It IS odd that even something as bubbled as Google wouldn't give you more localized information, though.

I think if you avoid American news or tell Google you do not want to read American news, you will get less of it, you have to avoid clicking on something you do not like, even if it’s the most promoted item on your list because if you click on something, Google will give you similar articles to look at because it will assume you like looking at that sort of thing.

In this particular case, it isn't Google's fault but it is your own bias. When you google "When is Pokemon coming to Netflix," it's giving you the correct answer because it's coming to the United States first. Your asking Google about an American coming named Netflix. So sorry Canada didn't invent Netflix.

Because since we made the internet. At first all of the servers and webs sites were in USA. Its slowly moving out but most are still here.

Usually there are setting on search engines for what country you are in

As far as tech companies, yeah “US corporations” are dominant. Funny that for tax purposes they’re really Swiss or Irish companies. But is google search the only metric?
