What company is trying to restrict access to porn? I know the Red State religiots who are the biggest users of porn and the biggest hypocrites about porn as well as their own morality are on a fake morality crusade for White Baby Jesus. But name a corporation that is using porn as a criteria for hiring and retention of employees.

I don't see how they're going to accomplish that. I've seen sites that say they need your credit card number to verify your age. 😭😭

Well the credit card part about verifying age has existed well before all of this with the government trying to restrict adult content on sites. The credit card part is because mainly adult are supposed to have access to credit cards. The new verification systems are now using facial recognition software along with showing your ID to prove you're an adult and making sure that your face matches your ID photo, along with them collecting data about you even though they say they don't.

This has existed on some sites like on adult oriented discord servers to show your ID to server staff, like PH discord server if it still exists as an example. But the issue is now that the government wants to get their foot in the door and governments around the world especially the US and western governments do not have a good track record of being for what they say they stand for, for a particular reason. It's always something that they really want underneath. And in this current technological era the government and big corps want your data, every bit of it that they can get their hands on while stripping away your privacy rights at the same time.

I wasn't aware of any of that new stuff. And I can't imagine anyone dumb enough to give them all that information. But there is a sucker born everyday.

As I mentioned, they require you to take a selfie to confirm you are the person on the ID.

I agree that the incest stuff can be weird to see and all but at the same time censorship in the name of “protecting the children” is a very slippery slope and credit card companies should not have that kind of power, especially if they’re acting as debit cards and ban purchases with the customer’s own money.

The UK has just done that and is now debating banning VPN. I agree we need to make it harder for kids to see porn but it should not be by taking away adult freedoms.
