I doubt the normal, ordinary Americans do not want a convicted felon for fraud and rape to represent America and us to the world. Not to mention all of the other dozens pending felonies against him. There are so many other reasons why they will not vote for him too.

You been told many times @goaded , every presidential administration retains document many of which were at one point "classified" . Every one of them ends up in some kind of negotiation with the goverment on the status of said documents.
This is normally done quietly although in a few cases such as the Clinton's it becomes a public dispute.

Hur undermines his own credibility on the subject of trump in admitting he didn't know. As for him having been once apportioned by Trump, one of the problems with our federal goverment 's enormous size is that people like Hur are one of around 4,000 political appointment Trump had to make.

If it is not by the economy alone, they will see the democrats bending over backwards doing everything they can make him disappear.
It is purely political because he has allegedly done things many presidents have done before him (including Biden) and have gotten away with, going to a civil trial for a rape accusation knowing innocent until proven guilty doesn't apply there, and going full "show me the man and I'll show you the crime" like the commies they are for the actual conviction, no trial for January 6th but the media says he's guilty for it because having an actual and 100% fair trial will likely show that it was actually an inside job based on what has already been released.
Even if the independents paid no attention to any of that, they will remember that someone tried to take him out and just barely missed with less than an inch from his head. Since the FBI and the SS aren't telling us anything, where else are people going to go but to suggest that this was an inside job too? The probability that there was this much incompetence at that one event is too small to entertain.
What's worse it that the media is trying to memory-hole the incident like they always do and Google has been accused of removing the assassination attempt from their search auto-completes in an attempt to stop regular people from finding out about this. Never forget what happened. The fact that this attempt even happened at all should have the average person worried because now the world knows that the SS is made up of bumbling fools.

Nobody really believes that any of the democrats' charges were nothing more than election interference. With every indictment Trump only went up in the polls. When he was convicted he raised a record amount of money. In the 48 hours after he was convicted he raised over 70 million dollars. A lot from small donors and first time donors. A lot of those donors were independents and donors usually vote.

At least 12 people believed the charges were valid. Hence the 34 guilty verdicts.

Bragg wasted millions of taxpayer dollars (mostly from the pockets of people living in New York City) to prosecute a legal private transaction of $130,000. The case was a financially nonsensical farce filled with procedural errors, and all it did was make Trump more popular amongst undecided moderate voters.

Whether you realize it or not, Trump is likely going to win in November, and it's probably not going to be close. @msc545 Obviously anything is possible, but unless something drastic happens, she's got no realistic shot to get anywhere near 270 electoral votes. She's less popular than Biden, no one voted for her to be the Democrat nominee (she was appointed the nominee), she's going to lose more votes to Kennedy than Trump does (which is why the Democrats are suing to get Kennedy kicked off the ballot in a number of states like Nevada), and the national and state polls always underestimate Trump's support amongst likely voters. The only hope Harris has to win, to use a football analogy, is the Republicans' amazing lack of ability to play with a substantial lead.

@msc545 I believe that the left's concern is overblown. January 6th was an anomaly. Very bad, but still an anomaly nonetheless. For every one non-left potential protester/rioter in this country, there are 100 or more on the left, and they always seem to be ready to protest/riot at the drop of a hat. Moderates, centrists, libertarians, Republicans, conservatives, and other non-left people historically don't protest and/or riot. If things don't go their way, they get miffed, shrug their shoulders, and then just go to work like it's any other day.
Anyway, I expect the two big tells on Election Night to be New Jersey and New York. I highly doubt that Trump will win either state, but if Harris only wins them by single digits (Clinton and Biden won both states by large 15% to 25% margins in 2016 and 2020, respectively), then you can turn off your television and go to sleep, because it'll mean that Trump will be well on his way to being reelected.
I imagine the Jan 6 people who aren't in jail or prison learned something from their experience. I certainly hope so! That said, I am more worried about the election officials who are also election deniers who plan to refuse to certify any elections where they personally dislike the results. I have been reading about this and it will make a terrible mess.

@msc545 I'm actually annoyed with myself for not putting $100 on Harris to become the Democratic nominee a few months ago, because she was going off at around +$800 just a few weeks before the first debate. Now she's at around -$2,000 (you can still bet on the Democrat nominee, because Harris won't "officially" be the nominee until the Democratic Convention). I actually might put $100 on Kelly and/or Buttigieg being picked as the Vice Presidential nominee, because they're both going off right now at +$99,900. I know they're long shots, but those odds are very surprising. Right now Walz (-$455) and Rice (+$7,400) are the top 2 favorites.
Not a Trump supporter, but to many independents, Trump's convictions are seen as politically motivated, and part of the reason, is Trump was convicted close to election time and not when Biden took office. As an independent I could care less about Trump's convictions, as it doesn't change the fact he's a deep state puppet just like Harris and will not get my vote.
