Someone once asked a question a very long time ago in a Yahoo Chat Room that I will never forget.. It went:-

Hypothetically you do not believe in banks, so your life savings are under the floorboards and there is a fire. There are two people in the building you and someone you hardly know, but there is no time to save that person and the money. What do you do?

I cannot believe anyone answered save the money, but they did. It wouldn't even be a dilemma for me. Saving the money couldn't be further from my mind at that moment!

People are far more important to me than anything I have!

There are material things that I want.

I want a/an:

Off grid house that I build
Campervan
High performance laptop (based on the year)
Decent phone model (based on the year)
Workshop
Outdoor bar
Greenhouse
Outdoor firepit
Top of the line cooking tools and pots
A wardrobe with my style of clothing and accessories
Kayak
Tent
Good camping equipment and tools
Guitar
Violin

I think if I have all of those, I'm a happy camper. Would you say that's materialistic? Because I honestly don't know. I like to call myself non materialistic, but maybe I am 😂

Unfortunately it costs for human to live on this earth even though everything was free from the beginning. So to have what I want, I Nedd money.

But i don't thing that I am materialistic, especially not with other people's money. I like to but stuff with my own money, or money given by my family.

I know I am not materialistic since some rich men has asked me out, some asked me to be a sugar baby or sell my pics, some wanted to give me money just like that, some wanted a serious relationship.

But i turned all of them down. That is because I either did not feel and attraction to some of them. I didn't like their personality or some other red flags I could sense from the conversations.

I think it's not about the money for me, it's just that I need more than just money in a relationship, such as (attraction, respect, love, good communication, for both to be helpful in other ways too than just money, like emotionally and physically, have things in common... etc)

Not with regard to possessions , flash possessions , but I like my money , more into the compounding materialistic part , as in quality productive assets , like houses and yield producing assets ETF s , Equities , REITs , deals..

All this stuff floats my boat , depreciating " assets " nope , brand names = nope.

I like the feeling of safety and stability, and this is what I use my money for... not sure if it makes me a materialistic person :D and I buy a sick amount of books... :D

No I used to have fancy things, but I don’t care about that at this time. Rolex watches and diamond rings. They don’t always stay with you. I got robbed in a house robbery and they’re all gone.

Nah. Many would see it as my flaw. I've heard that I should want to be more materialistic. People have shamed me for not wanting to become what they are. A hustler.

Not terribly, but admittedly I like certain luxuries. I don't care about fancy cars, the latest phones, the latest fashions or things like that. I'd rather spend money on travel or music, good food and wine.
