Are taxis allowed to deny service to paying clients?

I thought a taxi to my house is cheaper than a DoorDash delivery to my house. But their earnings are so low, they might deny me service.

So let me get this right. You want a taxi driver to go and pick up your takeaway lunch and bring it to your house.

Companies often have contracts with taxi firms to move parcels between branches so theoretically yes you could. But morally would you want to? Your denying that taxi to someone who might really need it just so you can have a snack.

I mean go to the store myself and then take the taxi home with my groceries when I’m done shopping.
