No, the US does not want war. The US is doing its best to prevent Israel from going to war.
Maybe under different circumstances the US would follow Israel into a war; but at present the US is overstretched and is not able to fight a massive regional war.
The US failed in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and Ukraine... it will fail in a war against Iran
They would not. The deep state would, however.
I think Israel should just get on with it and take out all those muslim countries
They've been fighting for 10 months in Gaza and they haven't done anything but massacred thousands of civilians including women, children and the elderly. They can't even fight Hamas!! If it hadn't been for the US, the Israelis would have been swallowed up by now. They're can't defend themselves independently.
