No shame in the challenge of climbing our way through life and society. Can take decades to work way out of poverty and get footing out of debt society places us in. Doesn't mean you are bad person, miserable, etc.

Maybe you've spent your time caring for poor and homeless on the streets of any country like mother teresa? that's not pathetic.

Do you want something more for your life... then get serious about the change required.

I was quite limited for a long time as well and minimal dates. Climbing out of emotional and environmental traps can be difficult.

Lastly, there are people doing the same... but trapped in the same room... because they are prisoners with not many options to get out. Remember, not everyone has freedom... even in this day and age. That isn't pathetic, it's sad.

And you are still alive. Some little girls in UK, Ukraine and others... died last week... their lives cut short in an instant of terror. Be thankful for what you have, but also have motivation to achieve your best life worthy of God... love.

It's kind of sad that you haven't dated, yes. But not sad at all that you've been able to even have your own place for that long. I think few of us do in this day in age. So many other people have to rent with roommates, get a room, or are still living with their parents because they can't afford their own apartment. Government knows this and they don't care.

But I would ask: is there any reason why you haven't dated?

Nope. I haven't dated for over 3 years. And before that over 15 years. All kinds of reasons why that happens.
