Do you like to see rich people get their comeuppance?

There have been several high profile murders or suicides by rich people who lived ostentatious lives and later it is revealed that they were really bankrupt.

Idc that much tbh. I feel like living life with jealousy is not helpful to having your own contentment. I see it in a way that every choice has consequences and so I don't need to worry about other peoples lives, they will recieve their karma or what they deserve in time. That can be positive or negative. If something bothers me then I just need to deal with my own life and try and solve that problem.

Of course I'm not perfect and there are things that annoy me. But money has never been that big of a deal to me. I live in a country where even the poorest people have enough to cover their cost of living and I think if you have that then the rest is up to you.

Your happiness your health etc. You have to figure that out. So I'd rather focus on that and spend my energy to make the best of my situation rather than focus on what other people have that I don't. I have enough to not be enslaved by constantly just trying to make enough money to cover my cost of living and that's better than a lot of peoples situation in this world so I'll just be grateful and live my life.

I have no problem with rich people just because they have money. I DO have a problem with criminals, regardless of whether they are rich, poor, or somewhere in between.

What I *really* don't like is that the VICTIMS of theft or fraud or violence almost never are made whole when the criminal is caught. The criminal may go to prison or get big fines or whatever, but the victims are usually not compensated, and if they are, it's usually only a tiny percentage of their losses.

I do not automatically wish for bad things to happen to affluent people. Most of them have achieved their positions by lawful and moral means, and I try not to let jealousy turn into vengeance.

Id like to see is all have more compassion for those below us in wealth. The approach ti that is what is dividing us politically and is the issue of our times… managinf the corrupt distribution of wealth.


Bible says that also. Im more sad seeing a person whom once was a child like all of us laying on street feom whom knows what failings in life than i am happy to see someone lose it all.

Money doesn't automatically make people criminal or corrupt. But the love of money surely is evil. Because if you love something, you'll do literally anything to get it. Therein lies the problem.

Hedge fund managers, big bankers and the like know they can screw everyone over and get away with it. Because of 2008 and before, they usually can, and because money buys power. Gamestop was proof enough for me that if you have enough wealth, you can cheat the system and the system will literally go out of it's way to make sure you don't fail. While simultaneously barring "the little guys" out of the system, it's not a level playing field in the slightest. Same with Hunter Biden, dude literally has tried all manner of degeneracy to go to prison and can't do it.
