I am only curious. I won't be replying to any comments but feel free to comment. Also please vote, I would like to see the results from gag.
Independent.
But i know for now until the democrats change their propaganda of trying to make this a identity politics i am not voting for them.
It is a very harmful message they are pushing right now especially towards the black community.
I know we deserve better, than to be openly told by them (that we aren't as capable as white people and white people should give us things they worked hard for because we are able to get it without handouts)
That is a dangerous message to us.
They want us to villianize white people while making us feel helpless and victims.
I myself know we are stronger than the dems see us, and far more capable of achieving things then they give us credit for.
If they truly wanted to help us, they would teach us how to get better skills, to open up more opportunities for us. How to find scholarships for college, how to secure loans for start up funds.
But instead the message is we can't do it because white people won't let us.
They try to discourage us from following our dreams.
They tell us openly have sex with no consequences. While over 1 million abortions last year, and 1.2 million people live with HIV.
Guess on both categories has the highest perecentages. That's right it's us.
They give us role models that promote reckless sex, criminal behavior.
The republicans don't want to ban abortions they want stricter laws, so people aren't recklessly having sex, spreading disease and making babies just to kill them.
I mean sex is literally the act to create life, and then people go oml i created life how could this happen 😱
Truth is dems hate us. But they need our votes for now.
So they promote us to be reckless, and we are believing it is out of love, so we follow it, and we are literally killing ourselves.
Population control.

Can I vote for you more than once? 😋
You have tremendous insight for your age. Very impressive.
Thought you might enjoy this video. It captures some of the concepts you mentioned. I REALLY hope for your sake that these ideas are catching on. Based on the votes for President Trump in the last election, I think the highest percentage of votes from blacks a Republican presidential candidate ever received, I am hopeful that is the case. Like you I am sick and tired of people being identified by their skin color! Especially from the people in the Democrat party who are always calling OTHER people racists! All they do is try to divide us to try to create this racial hatred in people who DO NOT HAVE RACIAL HATRED in the first place. Enough is enough! We are all Americans and will be a much stronger country once we put an end to this race baiting!

"Those three things are the philosophy of a classic conservative."
Perhaps most importantly, they are the three values that most closely define MODERN conservativism and are diametrically opposed to the ideology of MODERN liberalism. We have ourselves a conservative with a lack of self-awareness. Hopefully she will have an awakening at some point. And hopefully it won't come too late to avoid the catastrophic consequences for America.

@RingOfFire Well I guess since I’m a classic liberal, none of that applies to me. You guys are free to fight it out amongst yourselves. have. at it, it doesn't concern me. I’m not on anybody's side!
But if by “she” you mean you hope that I will have an “awakening”. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but I already did… It’s precisely why my family left the Democrat Party, and became Independent’s. As for your prediction of “catastrophic consequences for America”. My parents have told me more times that I could ever remember, how during THEIR lives they lived under the constant threat of nuclear annihilation from the Soviet Union. But not only did it not happen, the USSR collapsed, and disappeared from the face of the earth! Their fear was for nothing, but they still catastrophized about the possibility of it happening! More than likely, just like how your catastrophizing right now will not change anything either. This is why I despise politics, and especially partisan politics. It’s nothing more than “vote for us or we'll face an existential threat!"

1 yI hate the polarity of the decision and extremes at both ends are uncomfortable. Essentially liberal despite the problems associated with what is called liberalism today. There are far more people who identify themselves as Democrats than Republicans - on the order of 65% vs. 35% but most Democrats seem more willing to argue than to vote as Republicans vote a much higher percentage- the reverse of the breakdown above. If I look at the track record of Democrat vs. Republican in Congress it becomes apparent that Democrats support of Social Security, Unemployment, medical coverage such as it is, Medicare, every employment benefit, e. g. child labor laws, overtime required, OSHA will benefit myself and my peers more than Republicans who fought against every one of the above benefits. Unchecked though the Democrats seem willing to spend all of the money I've earned on any civil rights, warm & fuzzy issue.
I get tired of the political correctness Democrats insist upon as much as I get tired of the greed of which the Republicans seem to have a monopoly.
Capitalism seems as defunct as communism was so the answer must lie somewhere between the far left and the far right.

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yBoth Republicans and Democrats are corrupt, but Democrats are far more corrupt. A vote for any other party is a wasted vote.
I vote for the least corrupt of the two parties which today is Republican. I don't want to waste my vote. The Democrat party is dangerously close to Communism and showing all the signs that history has proven to be dangerous for the people they represent. The Republican party is not perfect, and there are plenty of bad apples, but overall it is a far better choice if you value freedom and prosperity.
Anyone who would even be a member of the Democrat party with this multi hundred Year history of being the party founded to represent slave owners and it's current incarnation having been co-opted by Marxist communists is either naive, illiterate of history and economics, or intentionally evil. The Democratic party is a threat to every American's liberty, security, and prosperity even the vast majority of the people who call themselves Democrats. They will be the first to suffer the horrific consequences if their party gains monopolistic power.

Thanks for that, but I am neither Republican nor Democrat. I don’t belong to either party. Your first statement, "Both Republicans and Democrats are corrupt”. Sweetie, it doesn't matter if one is MORE corrupt than the other, they are still corrupt. I despise partisan politics, I believe one should vote their conscience, not vote for the least of two corrupt individuals. Regardless of whether they are only slightly less corrupt than the other. When you vote for something you truly believe in, it’s NEVER a wasted vote. Only the vote you didn't cast is ever truly wasted. I’m so sorry we don’t agree on this. But that is no reason to not be friendly. I always believe in the principle of trying to see the best in people, despite any differences of opinion we may have.
Differences of opinion are not a reason to not be nice to people.
You are a nice person, and I thank you for that.

In a fantasy world that may be true honey
But in the real world, one of the two party's candidates is going to win regardless of how noble you think you are. And if the most corrupt candidate is the winner, you may find yourself enjoying your victory of conscience from a prison camp while waking each morning to the sound of those in the cells next to you being tortured to death while you and your loved ones await your turns.
Platitudes a nice fantasies honey, but grownups know that reality is the most moral vote of all.

1 yIndependent, I’m not into all the petty fuckery, haha
But the social positions held by Republicans these days offend me on a soul level, like it’s the embodiment of most things ugly in the world, so until that get renounced and denounced strongly and permanently, I can’t see myself voting red

"F***ery?" Both rich folk's parties engage in f***ery.
1 yMore and more I tend to lean right on things I used to be more centrist leaning and could empathize with some things the left was doing but they just have gone too far for me and even people who were left leaning just a few years ago have started coming over.
The extreme left has started calling anyone who thinks any differently then themselves right wing extremists. This includes anyone with moderate views on abortion, LGBT issues, the green agenda/climate change, among really anything else really. So people just get tired of it and tried of trying to bow down to these people and just become independents if not republicans.
A lot of the old school democrats have also just found no place for them in the party anymore. It’s gone too far to the left and they are so hair triggered as well as very inconsistent people. Many leftists have cognitive dissidence/double think, are hypocrites, and project who they are on other people. Many are very hate filled individuals who enjoy projecting that on other people.
You will only get into circular logic with these people who will only try to trip you up and gaslight you until as well as keep doubling down. Until you just get sick of arguing with these individuals and realize it’s simply not worth it.
Sure, I don’t agree with everything on the right necessarily either. But many “right wingers” are also very nice people who will give almost anyone respect so long as you show it to them. There are some examples people like to use as a straw man and don’t get me wrong there is nice democrats too. But even a lot of them are saying how they just can’t stand with the extreme left anymore.

Then became a Democrat when Trump nearly ran democracy into the ground. Now I look back with regret on how naive I was to ever be a libertarian and doubt people who claim to be independent.

1 yI'm a progressive and will vote based on past evidence of doing what they say they are in support of, rather than verbal vomit, and make sure the platform is one that will progress the nation into a stable & advancing future. Country's support pillars will always be the working class. If the working class is not stable, neither will be the country, regardless of the record profits large companies make.
