Outside of rape and incest, it should be completely illegal. In cases of "life of the mother," that's virtually never an actual abortion, but rather death of the baby is an outcome of the life-saving procedure, but in either case, that's fine too.
The above criteria would effectively outlaw roughly 99.5% of abortions (give or take.2%) that happen in the United States. That alone highlights a major societal problem in that so many people (not just the women) are willing to kill just to get out of the responsibility for their actions. In these cases, the "choice" has already been made when you choose to have unprotected sex, for which there is no excuse. It also doesn't help that the federal government actively persecutes companies and organizations that attempt to dissuade women from getting an abortion by providing financial and material aid to care for the child for the first few years. It takes very little effort to figure out that the reason for this is the pharmaceutical lobby, not even misguided activists who care about farcical "reproductive rights," who are little more than useful idiots. This is also why so many "conservative" state politicians sh*t a brick when Roe v Wade was overturned, since they could previously make toothless claims to be pro-life without actually being expected to do anything.
H**L YEAH !!!
ABORTIONS ARE HEALTH CARE AND HEALTH CARE IS A HUMAN RIGHT.
Thank you.
Amen! Lol
@Smashingdoozy spot on!
Abortion should be legal in the world for the right reasons.

I would say it depends on the situation. In cases of rape or the possibility of the mother dying then yes. But in other situations where someone just wants to be out partying, sleeping w random men, no. There needs to be some accountability. It’s not as simple as I make it out to be but those things need to be worked out. I think if women can opt out of being a parent just cause they don’t feel like it then a man should be able to make the same choice. His body his choice. Meaning he’s the one out there destroying his body to support this child. I think it’s ridiculous that a lot of people say men shouldn’t have a say in it. Then should we be able to exclude people who don’t fit into certain criteria. For example if you don’t own dogs you shouldn’t be able to vote on things that have to do w dogs. A majority of women don’t go to war so should they be able to vote on something that could potentially send men to war? Should we exclude people from voting on this that pertain to certain races simply because you’re not of that race?
“I think it should be up to the woman and they should be able to have the choice.”
My response: YES!
I’ve seen what reproductive health care restrictions do to a woman, female teenager, girl in need so less restrictions are a good thing to help the life of the person.
Abortion access should be less restricted, should be punishment free, and worry free for those raped, a victim of incest, sexually assaulted, sexually abused, birth control failure / condom failure, condom sabotage, etc.
My honest opinion don’t have sex if you don’t want a kid. This goes for both sexes or at bare minimum use protection.
Just like cowardly dudes run off and never pay child support. Never see their kids. Don’t even fight for custody. Coward women abort their children. Just any excuse someone writes for abortion. Either it’s some SIMP trying to get laid if it’s a dude. If it’s a woman it’s in a immature coward who doesn’t want to take accountability for my actions. Irs easier to abort and kill my child.
What in the case where the woman is r***d should she not have the option?
So did a innocent baby rape someone?
Shouod we kill a child whose already born. What did that baby do to anyone. That’s still a human life.
Rape is a horrible thing don’t get me wrong. But there are mothers who have been raped who hate what happened but absolutely love their child. How dare you sick fuck
Killing a child once it's born is completely different. Yes some mothers love their children from the horrific act. But others can't.
If you can’t love a baby then you’re not a good person. It’s not the child’s fault and there is adoption.
Abortion is traumatic and people lie to women about it. And they deeply regret their decision
By the way you asked the question. Don’t try to argue to get the answer you want to hear
I'm just expressing my opinion, I'm not trying to argue to get an answer I agree with. I just want to understand others points of view. I'm sorry if I'm coming off as aggressive that's not my intention.
It’s okay. But I have a very agreesibw stance. The only exception is a medical problem as a absolute last resort.
No, I’ve never been a woman. I’ve never experienced pregnancy or sex as a woman. But I still value human life and irs not like most cases of abortion aren’t just that someone isn’t wanting the baby.
Even with the rape exception. It’s still not enough to make most happy. Even people who are middle ground on abortion (ifs not a black and white issue) are called extremists by far left pro deathers
Okay I get your opinion, I don't agree with everything but do with some.
It’s just a innocent baby doesn't deserve to die. I feel horribly for rape victims it’s not that I don’t. But I also feel horrible for innocent life that’s sniffed out
We'll have to agree to disagree
Okay
At least your opinion has some intelligence unlike someone else.
I do appreciate that.
The question left out the MOST important element that is ALREADY in laws... when... which month.
We would not say "pro choice" of an adult or a toddler victim because it harms someone else.
French law was "forbid from end of first trimester." we should copy that here but not adjust each time they change their law earlier nor later just learn from them.
2, The picture about "hostility" IGNORED the hostility to the fetus!
Killing is far worse than "hostility," which is just a misrepresentation of "protect human victim"
so pro abortion are far worse in action and in false propaganda.
So next time ask with a date."Should abortion IN WEEK 35 be legal in the US." The baby inside is the same that will be an infant.
My answer is a little less straight forward.
Roughly 95% of abortions done over the last 50 years have been for the convenience of the mother. The mothers just didn't want to be a parent for reasons like a child getting in the way of their education or career plans, not being in a favorable financial situation, not being in a stable relationship with the father, being too young to be a good parent, etc. In other words, nothing to do with their health or bodies. So the whole "her body, her choice" thing is a fraud. It's really "her life, her choice". But they can't say that because it opens up a huge can of worms, because many men would choose to not be a parent for exactly the same reasons. His life, his choice. But men have no such option.
I will support women's abortion rights when men have similar legal rights... which means the "paper abortion" or the "financial abortion". Until then, women can go fuck themselves
Abortion is legal in several states. The repeal of Roe v Wade is understandable, returning a power to the individual states, a power that the US Constitution never gave to the federal government.
Ultimately, it is a decision that should be made by the woman, in collaboration with her doctor
I think this is a political discourse the US needs to have. Abortion was a State matter in my country as in the US but we had the political discourse and it is done and dusted. Eventually our States made complimentary legislation so it was uniform across the country.
It couldn't happen at the federal level for us, any more than it can happen in yours. You would probably be best aiming at states to pass complimentary legislation.
Abortion should absolutely be legal. That said, there are a whole lot of people who absolutely should not be having sex. They aren't capable of conducting an adult relationship in any kind of a healthy way.
If the crazies and emotional cripples stopped having sex, abortion would be a much rarer thing.
I live in a state where it is common to fuck your own sister, so, of course, abortion is illegal. This way you get inbred children who will grow up stupid and become GOP voters, thus keeping the GOP in power in this state.
don't think killing baby should be legal... Is it easier to kill an innocent baby than is it to kill a serial killer in today America...

Yes. EXCLUSIVELY her choice. A woman in America has less legal protections than a corpse and only gains agency when she is violated.
It certainly shouldn't be the decision made by those who currently do which are elderly wealthy white men who have no idea and less empathy for what single motherhood entails
It is a power delegated to the states. It is up to the individual State legislatures. That is the way it should be and the Constitution says so.
I think it should be mandatory in many cases for eugenics reasons. A baby momma welfare queen who keep shitting out gets to get more taxpayer dollars for her weaves and nails should be forced to get an abortion, then sterilized.
People who say no are ignorant to the medical procedure.
Yes, because the alternative is the enslavement of pregnant women.
Yes, but somebody needs to figure out exactly when a fetus becomes a person.
Yes it should be a women's choice not some grumpy old GOP men in politics
Why should not abortion be a state issue just like all other forms of murder?
Absolutely
Unless for medical emergency purposes then no.
Abortion is murder.
Murder should NEVER be legal
Not for babies. I’m fine with murdering rapists
Through the legal system but same difference
