Why did Trump change from pro-choice to pro-life back to pro-choice then back to pro-life?

He was pro-choice before he ran for president in 2016. Then he was pro-life, now he said his administration will be great for "women's reproductive rights." He went from saying Florida's abortion ban after 5 weeks was to extreme to supporting it.

He doesn’t care about policy or getting things done for the American people since his values don’t operate on others’ connivence/benefit only his own also how to exploit others for specific gain. Wanted to repeal Affordable Care Act for a “bigger better plan”, never did and now calls for expansion.

Always stood against Child Tax Credit, now supports it.

Always was Roe V. Wade killer now supports government funded IVF free.

Always wanted ban on TikTok and agreed for years that China steals personal American data to use against us, they’re a threat… Now he magically still calls them a threat while flip flopping to support rejecting Biden Administration’s ban on TikTok that Republican & Democratic lawmakers put onto the President’s desk. The legislation goes into effect in 2025(to my knowledge off the top of my head) so, this is dangerous to be flirting with.

Complained in 2012 that President Barack Obama would (If reelected) would deport millions and millions of those residing in America. Now he utilizes the idea of deporting millions of Americans as a campaign slogan. RNC everyone was holding “Mass Deportations” signs while DNC were holding “USA” signs.

Called for the termination of articles & rules even found in the US Constitution all to justify losing a just election. He even falsely claimed that Article 2 of US Constitution gave the President absolute power to do whatever he wants in 2019…. I guess it didn’t give him the power to stop a Pandemic. “People are dying, that’s true. It is what it is.” & “More deadly than even the most strenuous flus… I’ve always played it down, didn’t want to create a panic.” & “Disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute… Is there something we can do that by… Injection… Inside?”

Trump was pro life before he ran but he said he would push pro choice agendas because he didn't feel like it was very American to push that view on others.

Then either right before he was elected or shortly after (I can't remember) he changed his stance saying that it was one thing talking about it but when you actually have the power to legalize abortions it was very difficult for him to actually work towards it. Which I think every non biased person can understand at least in a conceptual level.

This of course was a problem, he didn't want to loose sleep at night because even if the left doesn't feel the same way, he was afraid of feeling responsible for killing babies. But he wanted to make good on his promise so he participated in a set of events which ultimately led roe v wade being overturned.

The idea being that the country was so divided over the issue, the best thing he could do to help was return full control of the decision back to the states.

Now you can vote for the person who campaigns on the type of abortion laws that you're interested in at a very low level instead of leaving it up to pfzier or something.

Trump all along ahs said that he favors abortion in some circumstances. The terms pro-choice and pro-life are confusing, since they define completely opposite ends of the spectrum. There's no term for being somewhere in the middle, and that's where Trump (and most people, I might add) are.

So his actions so far then if I take your word for it are banning it nationally and then claiming credit for the fact the supreme court brought it to the states.
