What's the amount of your total debt and what is it for?

$61,000 at 3%. Refinance February 2020. I heard about some crazy thing in china and it's dropping morgage rates like a rock. Last very last piece of paperwork was the first day of the shutdown. Saved $150 a month since then compared to the old morgage.
Got more then enough to pay it off now after inheritance but stock market could pay out 7% plus. So minus 3% paying the mortgage and the same money that could pay it is growing at 4% more profit. Accross 25 plus years that's not nothing.
DEBT:
$87K mortgage left
$110K one kid college tuition
$24K another kid

RECURRING EXPENSES

$20-$120 gas heat/stove month
$200 gas for cars monthly
FREEDOM SWEET FREEDOM:

Credit cards are paid & zero balanced each month

No debt. I only have monthly bills. I pay off all credit cards every month. The most debt I've had in my life was around $3200 or so. That was when I was working out of state and living in a motel, which added up. I paid that off every month also.
I think the most balance I've carried is around $2000, and that was not for long.
I paid cash for all my cars, and even paid cash for my house.
I don’t have debt, and never have any debt in my life. I But my worst time was when i was 21, I even didn’t have any money to buy a tampon.
just some money owed on a credit card , i seem to spend more during the summer than work it off afterwords but less than a $1000
zero, at the moment... (knockingonwoodathrilliontimes)
We keep our 2 credit cards paid off every month. So the only thing I can think of would be our pre-payments of funeral/burial/casket type of stuff, which we've been paying for maybe a year now
0 - no debt whatsoever! I learned my lesson a long time ago!
