I predict that the leftist political hack judge Juan Merchan is ready to sentence Trump to prison. However he might be forced to delay sentencing until after the election is over.

Funny back in 2020 I argued with fellow conservatives about the “election was stolen” claims Trump made.

The 2020 election was definitely morally/ethically stolen from Trump. From big tech censoring TRUE conservative content (hunter Biden laptop story) to mass media collusion for the DNC (10x worse now) to early mail in voting bs which favors democrats, etc. The institutions of power colluded to they could to get Trump out of office.

However I never believed that the election was LEGALLY stolen from Trump in 2020. I thought his claims about mass voter fraud was complete bs.

But now in 2024 I now believe without a resounding doubt that democrats ARE without trying to ILLEGALLY steal the election from Trump. Lawfare is perfect example of this. Biden weaponized his DOJ to go after a political opponent which has never been done in American history.

The latest insanity is how RFK dropped out of the election but the two key swing states Wisconsin and Michigan are keeping his name off the ballot? WTF? They are also trying to take radical far leftist Cornell Wests name OFF the ballot even though HE IS running. This was illegally setup to favor the democrats.

If liberals want a civil war this is how you start it.

Those charges were all pressed by Democrats out of vindictiveness and also fear that he is the person with the best chance of beating them in November. The DNC eliminated all of the good Democratic candidates in favor of propping up bumbling Joe, and Kamala is even worse.

They dug for anything and everything to charge him with from the moment he beat their despicable heir apparent, Hillary. They even invented shit like Russiagate.

The charges are "trumped" up and inflated. Democrats despise Trump. They are obsessed with him. They think their only means of winning in November is character assassination.

I think rational people understand this. So I doubt if any convictions will sway voters. If anything, they have boosted his publicity and made him look like a martyr.

We all know what a criminal he already is. The drug kingpin he pardoned for killing a federal officer that beat up his wife is more concerning. The constant attacks of the troops are more concerning. All his project 2025 and his attacks on democracy are more concerning. The obvious mental decline is more concerning. Admitting to interfering in the election is more concerning. Jail is unlikely for that crime, so not a big deal. He's got another year or so of freedom before he goes to jail for all the bigger crimes. That he cheated on his third wife while she was a pregnant with a pornstar is a sign that he's a terrible person and laughable excuse for a "good Christian family man" but sentencing for trying to cover it up is low on the totem pole of all the reasons he's going to lose.

Most of the experts say he will get probation and pay a fine. It's a first-time offense, really only one crime, and it's a white collar crime where no one was physically or economically harmed. The sentencing judge is going to be careful about any jail time, since it could involve the elected President being in jail, and that would have all kinds of negative ramifications.

Because of this, the sentence will most likely have no effect on the election. It could actually harm Harris if she tries to make a big deal out of it.

Trump going to prison would mean democracy is dead in this country and kick off a civil war. I imagine that truckers, who are almost entirely conservative, would simply stop delivering food and other supplies to the big blue cities which result in the liberals there turning on each other or getting taken over by all the illegal criminals they imported to live in those places.

Said E. I don't think sentencing Trump to jail will have a significant effect on his supporter's willingness to vote for him. I know it won't affect my decision. I do think shit will hit the fan, and it likely should. If Democrats can get away with imprisoning their political opposition it's quite clear that we no longer have a shared polity. We should either have a vote to disband the union, or one party will have to win a fight. I don't see any other resolution.

Not me, but some independent voters who are still undecided will view it as being politically motivated and will vote for Trump, when they potentially could have voted for Harris. Doesn't matter if it's actually politically motivated or not, that's how some undecided independents are going to view it, and Democrats suing to keep 3rd party candidates off the ballot in multiple states, only enforces the idea it's politically motivated.
