A Texas man was not charged in the death of a child molester, who he caught in the act raping his 5 year old daughter, Is This Justice served?

I personally think it is. Sorry, the moment you choose to harm a child in any sexual way, there shouldn't be a trial, there shouldn't be due process, it should be immediate execution. As a man, who believes in the death penalty for child molesters and rapists, i support what this father did, and would have done the exact same thing in his shoes. In my own state we have similar laws, making lethal force in preventing rape or sexual assault legal and justified.

Minor update, when I said no due process, straight to execution, I meant in cases like this where the rapist was caught red handed.

I don't support the death penalty but I think if you use reasonable force, and that person ends up dying, then so be it. If you burgle someone's home, or commit horrific acts such as child rape, then it should be the victims rights that are being protected, not the perpetrators. In the UK the father would probably be facing a prison sentence of 15 years now.

The father did the right thing, and the rapist got what he deserved. Legally, this was self-defense, since a 5yo cannot defend herself, but her father can.
