Flemish.

Belgium is a mix of people of Flemish, French, and German ancestry. The Flemish live mostly in Flanders, the French mostly in Wallonia but also Brussels/Bruxelles, and the Germans live in the east near Germany.

The Flemish speak "Flemish" and are assertive about that but it is really more-or-less Dutch. They complain a lot about the Wallonians because Flanders makes most of the money in the Belgian economy, and the Flemish feel they are supporting the Wallonians.

For a good number of Belgians - especially Flemish - they'd want to break-up Beligium. Keep Flanders independent or join the Netherlands while the Wallonians can go back to France for all they care. However, many Flemish want to remain independent and not be part of the Netherlands; about 200 years ago, they fought a war of independence from the Netherlands.

NON, Europe must unite, not divide. I will hate to hear that any country claim new independency. They should both agree on some comon terms in order to stay united and keep unite with more countrys. I will like to see a France + Belgium unity, Germany+Schwisenland+Austria, Romania+Rep. Moldova, Portugal+Spain+Italy, Greek+Turkey+Cyprus, Danemark+ Norway+Sweeden + Island, Finland + Estonia, Lituenia + Latvia, Czech + Slovakia, Irland + N. Irland, back all ex-Yugoslavian countrys. AND ALL OF THEM TO PROGRES TO AN UNITED EUROPEAN COUNTRY LIKE NEVER BEFORE WITH INOVATIONS, HUMANS RIGHTS, ROUL OF LAWS, SECURITY, SOCIAL INTEGRATION PROGRAMS AND EVENTS, ACCESIBLE TRANSPORT. AND TO BE THE BEST COUNTR/CONTINENT THAT HAD EVER BEEN FROM THE ROMAN EMPIRE TILL NEVER EVER IN THE FUTURE FOREVER!!!

What has that gotten Europeans. Mass unregulated immigration? A lowering of living standards? Houses they can't afford to rent or live in? Lower wages? Higher taxes? Europeans don't support these policies yet are ignored.

@Drewtate Comaring with countrys out of EU the police is a milion time better then there! In EU the salary are still better then any other country (only competition are USA and Canada), in EU countrys (moustly west) are one of the moust resonable taxes , in a country from east the taxes can get even to 60%!!! I work in a EU country before and now in UK there are still good salarys in some buisnis if you search and don't take that much time to do so. In EU and Europe are one of the best living standards in the world, right now i'm very happy with my midle class status and feel safe and secur economicly. With houses i can agree but i don't know what will happen for shure, we need to keep pointing to this problem and make shure the politicians will not abandonit and alwase remaind them about the issues that need to be solved!!!

In the EU salaries are high but taxes and prices negate that. Eastern Europe is doing very well for their people, in fact many are returning home because conditions and pay is not very good anymore for them.

@Drewtate Thous are fools, i talk even with people who return, they all agree they made theyr life mistake.
East Europe is about to become bankrupt.
Only fools look to taxes when you have cheap salary. I never ever car how much taxes i pay as long i can aford what ever i want or need and can put some money for economy.
And i'm not working a "WOW" job and still live in London (the situation is 1000x time better then in East Europe but slowly going down, till we will rejoin EU in a couple of yares).
In East Europe many produxts are 6x time more expensive then in west.

I mean if I am going to argue independent from the EU I am going to vote for all of them. But I'm not an ethnonationality I am a civic nationalist. Its about the right for people to govern their own countries according to their own choosing not about preservation of an ethnicity.

Basques and Catalans, I'd say. One of my grandfathers was a Basque, so I am quite familiar with their history.

Because they continue to experience discrimination, even violence, the Roma/Sinti peopels, plus perhaps the Irish Travelers.
