I would prefer them to get life in prison without parole. Spending more than 12 hours per day in a cell for the rest of your life sounds like hell but i also don’t want tax payers money going towards them. I would much prefer tax payers money going towards something better.

In places they lock prisoners in a cell for like 22-23 hours per day.

Death penalty cause life without parole could get contested and reduced to 25 or 10 years.

There is nothing that can fill the whole in the heart. At the same time you if you were to as a trade eye for an eye mentality you are trying to. It will always feel empty.

When it comes to justice and a fair trial. Society sees what you are going through and in a way share the weight and share the pain together.

This code mentality is protecting killers when justice is supposed to be pure. It's not about preference but what actually protecting us.

Life in prison, plus someone THEY care about get murdered so they can experience the same pain. If they have no empathy, then just maime cripple them. Or torture them. Death penalty is the easy way out. I would want them to suffer like they made ME suffer

Death penalty costs way more so your logic makes no sense if that's your worry.
As for me I don't care about the money, I care about eye for an eye so death penalty.
