Today marks 23 years since the 9/11 attacks that changed America forever. We will never forget.

Where were you and what were you doing when 9/11 happened?

Reminds me of a meme. It has "how Africans became Christian" and showed a bunch of Christians beating on unarmed Africans. Then another frame says "how Mexicans became catholic" and it showed a bunch of catholics beating on unarmed mexicans. Then another frame that said "how the turks, kurds, etc became muslim"" and it showed a bunch of muslims beating on unarmed turks, kurds, etc. Then another frame that said "how the jews became nazis" and it showed a picture of a concentration camp.

Seems like there should be a fifth frame of "how republicans became terrorists"

There are two worlds in Islam. The world if Islam (submission) and the world of war. It is the objective of Islam to either subdue the world of war or to annihilate it. The middle ground is dhimmi (buying protection). They acted annihilation out on 911 an are gaining submission in Europe. The EU will disintegrate in 15 years.

My mom was getting me ready for school when she got a phone call from her friend to turn on the news.

As to what my thoughts are. Those wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were completely pointless. We killed Bin Laden, so what? I still have to take my shoes off at the airport and can't bring water and I don't feel any safer, because there are thousands more like Bin Laden.

Obviously, I missed the first plane. At that point in time, I was just going by what the "news" was telling us. Now, I know better.
