Only if there are alternative fates. But that would probably negate the point of fate, well, unless there is like a religious ultumatum/prophecy that states the different outcomes that hinges on some free will.
But mostly I think that fate is usually meant as if the world and future is predetermened, which pretty much means you have no will whether or not you believe in it and all that you do is your fate along a singular path to a predetermined destination in time.
Even if you tried to be random or irratic then that was your fate. If you don't believe in it then that is what makes you make the decisions towards that fate, believing in free will would be your destiny.
I want to believe in free will. But like with anything faithbased, I can't know, it just makes for great movies and interesting philosophy.10 Reply

Karma enables your fate it's process and continuation of all the deeds collectively in all your incarnations that could be in any form.
Consciousness is a memory module that gets transferred each time you die.
And bits and fragments we are able to recall and most can't access it.
We have a free will for sure, but so do others and sometimes free will of others get priority from ours.
And still to choose to not retaliate and be submisive is on our own choice of free will.
If you want exert free will you have to be strong.
And strong willed people can change karma which in turn can change your fate.
Fate is number of possibilities and not fixed constant it's a variable.10 Reply

Fate could be in some extent human behavior that pick mostly most egoistic option, but as some metaphysics program that runs strictly in predefined manner alias fate doesn't exist. Entropic chaos is the main rule of universe, even though there is one goal in entropy, possibilities to reach that goal are unlimited.
We have free will but we are limited due our nature, horizon of mental limitations and physical rules just to small amount of options.10 Reply
Unfortunately, there’s no fate and people have less free will than they think. 😂 That’s my idea of it.
I like to believe in fate at times though. Especially when you pair it up with skills you seem to have naturally or develop remarkably faster than others. It seems fated that you use them in some way, or one day could, if you wished to.

Yes we have free will to do things. The possibility that someone else may know how things will turn out has nothing to do with our free will.
Here's a sports analogy: A high school football team would know in advance that they would never beat a professional football team, but the high school players would still want to exercise their free will and play against them
20 Reply By definition, if fate is predetermined, then you can't have free will. Buy if free will is real, than fate cannot be predetermined.
Kinda the same argument can be made for the Christian concept of "god."
If god is all knowing, there can't be free will, vlbecause if free will exists, than people can change their minds, which means said god can't know what they are actually going to do.
The two concepts in both situations are mutually exclusive.11 Reply- 23 d
Yes it exists!!
So everyone's fate was written 50k years ago (before this world was made) ... there is still the possibility that it changes through our prayers 🤲🏼 ..
And there are 2 possibilities to do a thing if you do it then what happens and if you don't do it then what happens!!!

I don't believe in a fate, creating the our live fate is on ours hand. İf you believe in a fate you believe in a god. Because for the knowing fate was created from god. Like basically you did something wrong, you hurt someone who you love and will you think that it was a fate that's why this shit situation happened? Or it was just a stupidity behavior? What would you think?

When anybody dies, they say it was fate that got him. In that case maybe a better name for fate is The Grim Reaper. Don't fear the Reaper! I don't believe in FATE.

Both terms require a far more precise definition. Unfortunately what seems to pass for free will these days is being allowed a choice of slurpee flavors

No fate does not exist. We are conscious aren't we? Consciousness is already a mystery and yet here we are. Conscious AF. Free will is merely an emergent property of consciousness just as consciousness is an emergent property of inanimate dust particles.
