The US should end all corporate welfare, farm subsidies, and the ethanol mandate.

The US should lower income tax rates but eliminate all tax exemptions save charitable giving. No individual who makes less than $500k a year should need an accountant at tax time.

US citizens should be able to buy prescription medicine from foreign countries.

We should repeal the Patriot Act.

Social Security and Medicare should be voluntary, and there should be no taxes on retirement income up to $100k/year.

We should cut the military budget by focusing on defense, not being the world's police.

The US military is in the middle east to secure cheap oil/gas and so the can sell manufacturered goods to Arabs. The US has deliberately destabilised non US aligned states like Syria, Libya and Yemen as an example to the others, that's why Iran has got such harsh treatment this last 50 years and of course that's why Afghanistan was handed over to the taliban with a formidable cash of weapons because Afghanistan is neighbours with Iran and Pakistan. Syria sided with Russia a month before the Arab spring, choosing to stop American companies build an oil/gas pipeline through Syria into Europe which would have undermined the Russian economy at a time Russia was investing heavily in its military.

Arms sales basically keep the us arms industry going and make it cheaper for the us military to buy weapons as well as get rid of older weapons. For instance the us military is replacing all it's old cold war era equipment and most of the stuff from the war on terror, selling it to Ukraine.

The war on drugs keeps central and south American countries weakened economically. Countries like Brazil and columbia are actually pretty wealthy but they are in chaos. If they started to get their act together they could challenge the US economically. Argentina was cut down in the 50s because it's beef industry was undercutting the us beef industry.

Those in power want uncontrolled ilegal migration because it lowers wages and raises house prices.

Small farmers are being crushed right now deliberately. When they are gone corporations will charge what they want and lobby to take all the water they want raising water prices for the average person.

Lowering taxes on the working and middle classes would mean they have money to buy property or work less. Powers that be can't have that. The IRS knows exactly how much you make and what you spend it on. Taxes should be done automatically.

Big pharma will never let people buy cheap medicine.

Patriot act gives the federal government to much control and they will never give it up. Secret courts, judges and jail time fof a crime you've no idea about because it's top secret.

The us economy depends so much on the military including selling to foreign nations.

We should repeal the Patriot Act. Conservative(though not really in the modern age…. I think two Republicans Lindsay Graham and some one else introduced a spy bill that would give big government more abilities to look into your internet usage & practically expand Patriot Act) I’d say Liberal based on what I remember.

Yes, the US should withdraw from the Middle East completely and only deal with its own internal affairs.
