Because once you understand that you cannot control anybody you cannot stop anybody from doing what they're doing with your partner or whomever they have to be the ones to put that stop to. . And if you can't trust somebody and what are you doing with them
. When I go into a relationship before I even go into it I asked myself are you willing to take the pain if it doesn't work out is it going to be worth it and of course I always say yes.
But you can do your part in the relationship and do the best you can do to make things work to grow to become better people but it's your partner doesn't feel the same way and they do something I mean they can leave anytime they can have an affair anytime and you can't get jealous of that you can get a little bit angry over because they've been wasting your time but you just got to let it all go.
And if that does happen you have to thank them and say thank you for showing me exactly who you are and just move on
But I can't get jealous. Over something that I cannot control your partner will do whatever they want to do when they want to do it and if they are a good partner you don't have to worry about it you can just look in to their eyes. And you can hear what they're saying to you whether it's silent or just to look in the eyes but they say I love you and you don't have anything to worry about and that's what it's all about right there but jealousy destroys everything
So it's up to the partner in question to make it easier on the other person to say hey wait a minute this is not happening you know that you better believe in me10 Reply

Jealousy is just a feeling. You're getting fucked and not in the good way... then you feel that.
So yeah, you've sacrificed your other options for a partner with the expected returns being that they will do the same for you and then you notice they didn't sacrifice shit for you... you're just jealous.
You can accept this and be some sort of cuck... or... you can listen to your biology screaming at you that you're getting the shit end of a stick in a raw deal.
Jealousy is natural and it's only there telling you the truth. The ones telling you that shit is childish or whatever is probably gaslighting you and fucking you over.

What's not always easy to understand is that a feeling is always authentic. You just feel jalousy gnawing your mood. Jalousy on the other hand makes you see or feel something you crave to have, and believe should be yours instead of someone else's. This means you have the capacity to see something subtle, and that capacity can be used to grasp a better understanding of the human nature and of our own deep nature.
On a more everyday scale, a little jalousy may still show how we care about someone.
At first thus, jealousy is rather negative in general, be it only because of the incredible quantity of stupid reactions one may have. But if one's deep endeavour is to improve oneself, develop compassion by penetrating into the realm of Wisdom, then no doubt, jealousy may prove to be a very useful tool.

I don't know. I was raised to believe that jealousy is a deadly sin. Which I understand the thinking behind that but any time I see someone better than me and I get that twisted knots feeling:
A. It doesn't stop me from feeling happy for them and being potentially proud of them.
B. It makes me really want to be good at that thing too and that person becomes a source of inspiration.
Is that still jealousy? I don't know.

Jealousy exists to protect our lineage.
Men get jealous because they don't want to be cucked and waste their resources on another man's child.
Women get jealous because they don't want another woman to take the resources and attention they are currently getting from a man.
10 Reply Yes It has value as long as the person feeling jealousy can do something about it. "Absolute powerlessness corrupts absolutely" because jealousy can't be dealt with constructively. The jealous person either becomes dispondant / depressed or dangerous

I think jealousy at a normal level is a binding force in a relationship. It's not a bad thing for couples to feel that the other one is so into them that they are protective of the relationship against Intruders.
But like some other qualities in relationships it can become damaging if taken to an extreme. At a certain point it becomes an unhealthy obsession.

I'd say negative emotion as I've yet to see someone use jealously to improve themselves however that certainly would be a good thing.
