Give the victim's family members iron rods and let them decide. If they let them live, obviously the crime wasn't that bad. That'd be like the final final appeal. I think the death penalty is ridiculous if it isn't feared, enforced, and gives closure.

Like if someone killed anyone in my family, if they got arrested, I figure the parish is going to make a deal, and I'll be dragging them behind a truck in 4 years. If instead someone came to my door with them kneeling and said kill them like a wild dog with no consequences, I'd feel indebted to them for the rest of my life.

Uh, there's a little thing called the U. S. Constitution which forbids cruel and unusual punishment! The idea is not to inflict unecessary paint. The idea is to remove them from the world of the living. That in itself is major! The cruelties inflicted on prisoners by rulers during the middle ages was sometimes beyond imagining! Our Constitutional provision was to prevent that sort of barbarism.

Rather than looking for a clinic, in another 4-8 years, it's likely you'll be looking for the same guy who cooks the good meth. In the same way that guy can supply a city or county with that ice, he could do the same with mifepristone even if you banned it.

I personally think women who get abortions are using it as a secondary form of birth control in most cases. I wouldn't be with someone who had an abortion of a kid we were going to have together, but I don't want to restrict it legally either.

It doesn't affect me, and if my wife ever has an entopic pregnancy or something her docs will be very well practiced from all the scrapes they've done in the past for other women.

The question was what I regard as worthy of a Capital punishment and that is taking the life of the most innocent of our citizens to whom you personally were liable.

There is no more innocent a victim,
no more heartless and savage a betrayal.
It is hard to imagine a greater crime.

That said I am ok with killing in the name of self-defense. Medically speaking such can pretty much only happen in cases as would have to be identified by a 3rd party doctor regardless.

@razelove If you have reason to suspect a woman used illegal drugs whether it caused the miscarriage or not you can test her for the same.
Realistically this would be done by friends & family if not by doctors when she seeked medical aid for when such a dangerous drug was taken. In either case such drugs would be easy to see in such tests.

That you don't have a problem with a innocent person is murdered unless its your child is really just a telling everyone how self-centered you are.
