Wow a testament to being vain... A bridal and most of all a baby shower is celebrating your accomplishments for the community and family that attends.

A job is just a source of income for the same. Only your employer has a right to care about your success there for which they should demonstrate with a bonus.

@dongie Let me explain that corporations wanted more consumers and more slaves, so they said it was okay for women to go out to work and leave the kids in daycare, but then women decided their work was more important or they couldn't balance home and work, and now everyone is complaining.
