Do you think this would make a good video series? (A true story of long term sexual abuse)?

I am a male in the uk, 36 years old and recently started therapy to deal with a host of childhood traumas which ultimately led to heavy drink and drug addiction starting from 14 to 36 years old. (18 weeks sober today).

I had a thought yesterday about talking openly about my story, because I know there are many other victims from my own abuser, all of which are also still quiet about it, struggling.

and I think that other victims of sexual abuse would benefit from hearing another full story in detail and how I felt and how it’s effected me later in life. I will also at the end, expose the man.
the man was a teacher at my school and prominent figure in the community, known by many thousands of people. He was an expert groomer, and other than the children he preyed on nobody has any idea. This man built his life around children and worked in youth services most of his life, I have since come to learn that at least 2 other children that had contact with him during the period I was involved with him he abused. This is just 2 out of thousands of children he had close contact with in his life. So I quite expect there to be hundreds of other victims along the way. All silent, all surviving.

my grooming and abuse with this man lasted from age 12 to age 19 where I finally built the courage to breakaway. The grooming was utterly master level. The long term manipulation techniques are quite impressive actually. And the long term impact utterly devastating.

I expect the story to last a fair few hours, which I thought about releasing in parts over the space of a few weeks on TikTok/insta etc then at the end finally reviling the man.

why? To bring awareness, to children and to parents on how vigilant you need to be. How the nicest person who you’d trust with anything can be a wolf in sheep’s clothing. And ultimately, to bring the victims of this man together and to make this man no longer a dirty little secret.

whst do you guys think?
