She said “I have so many issues with our government in every way. There are so many things that I would want to change. So I don’t feel pressured to endorse someone. There’s problems on both sides. I encourage people to use your critical thinking skills, use your vote – vote small, vote for what’s going on in your city.” Do you agree with her?

1 yThis is a horrible mindset as a former Trump supporter because yeah government sucks however it is about who will lead it in a good positive direction (Harris and Walz) & who will turn it to a bad negative misdirection (Trump and Vance)

Literally not upholding the US Constitution
Trump’s reaction to 2012 Mitt Romney Losing To Barack Obama
Harris was right at the debate for bringing this ‘Dirty Little Secret’!
“I will always be friends, no matter what happens with our dispute on trade.” -Trump Not to mention that Mike Pence called the National Guard to disperse the mob on January 6th, not the fucking President…

Tax breaks (taxes decreased under Tim Walz), Child Tax Credit (increased under Tim Walz), 15 week Paid Parental leave for Amazon Warehouse Workers, Hospital & Nursing Home Staff, and School Faculty, Increasing Minimum Wage, etc.(all Under Tim Walz)
Now let’s talk about Kamala Harris’ record: Chips And Science Act for Technology Based Manufacturing Jobs (Microchips To Out Compete China), Pact Act for Millions of Veterans to receive the benefits they deserve for putting their life on the line every day for our freedoms, Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (Helps rebuild our Infrastructure), and so much more.

In 2026 drug costs for Diabetics & millions of Americans struggling to get by are getting a huge price reduction. The deal reached with prescription drug companies to save Americans a total of $6 billion in drug costs alone thanks to the Democratic Party.
I just don’t believe Trump is any good for this country, he is literally unhinged, broken, disillusioned, and a disaster spoken by a former Trump supporter.

The issues that exist with the US government are because, for at least 50 years, we the people have neglected our civic duty to judge by substance rather than presentation. So the wealthy who have nothing else to do but amass more power and more wealth stepped in to take advantage of the power we were neglecting to use. In the coming election there is one candidate that is all but running openly on enshrining this into law through project 2025, and another who is not. Anyone who can't pick between these two is walking talking evidence that we deserve a dictatorship to remind everyone culture wars are not nearly as important when you are forced to dedicate 100% of your life to making sure some useless narcissist feels secure. But it's not worth having a dictatorship just to give 74 million delusional people a reality check. Because once that reality is checked, it doesn't go away. It's permanent. They should learn from history like a human instead of needing to learn from the present like a dog. Or maybe we haven't reached that point as a species yet..

1 yDoes anyone really care what she said or thinks? She is certainly doing well enough monetarily under the government we have. She might do worse depending who she votes for, or if she even votes. You can't make things better if you just cry about things and don't put in your 2 cents worth by voting.

Anonymous(18-24)1 yShe’s not wrong but I personally think the Democrats are better. Other people think the Republicans are better. It’s important to vote for who you believe in. And it’s important to vote in the national elections, not just your local elections, though those are important too.

Why you can't agree with her
- 1 y
@joselyn002 E. g., I don't know what "issues" she has with the government. Maybe she thinks the government should gibe her more handouts and take care of her so she always has a safety net. I disagree with that position. . . but that may not be what she is thinking. Maybe she thinks the government tries to control our private lives too much; I would agree with that.

921 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yes I agree the system is not good and no matter who wins it will suck.
I wrote a mytake about how it works in my country if anybody is interested. Because our system is so different I can see the difference and how people are not really being represented in the U. S. or the U. K. because the political system doesn't incentivise politicians to actually care about most of their voters.
00 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I agree that no one would possibly give a remote flying fck who she endorsed , these endorsements are absolute bullshit anyhow , It comes down to a few votes in some vital states , never be rusted onto either side , remain floating , keep the seat always marginal.
00 Reply5.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I know nothing about her but that sounds like the right attitude for an entertainer. In fact, she's 100% correct to draw attention to city level politics. People obsess over the presidency and legislature, but state and city level elections regularly have only 5-20% participation despite the fact those issues will affect your daily life far more.

1 yI agree with her not endorsing any candidate, but I disagree with her reasoning. To me, it's wrong for a celebrity to endorse any candidate, since many of their fans will vote for that candidate only because their idol told them to. That's not democracy.

1 yI agree. We need to stop looking at politicians in terms of parties because both sides are corrupt PoS. Look at the individual running, and look at their past actions in comparison to their platform. Mouth candy is just that, sweet words to entice you.
10 Reply 2.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. A big Teamsters Union just did the same thing. Unions generally endorse Democrats. But this one is choosing to not but then also stop short of Endorsing Trump when 60% of their base want Trump. The Union knows Harris is a train wreck so they just can’t endorse her.
The singer you reference knows Harris isn’t good but just can’t say Trump. She will Privately vote Trump though I bet.

1 yabsolutely. people get all riled up arguing about which candidate is best but when we sit down, calm down and just think for a second, they're both shit. we're just choosing what we hope to be the lesser evil.
00 Reply 1.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Absolutely agree. I hate her music though lol, but she's pretty smart to have that opinion. I won't be voting and don't believe in it anymore.

Why do you say that?
- 1 y
@joselyn002 Because voting is a joke. Politicians do not change anything, corporations and people in hidden corners are the ones who make the rules, politicians just pretend they do. Money talks louder than political promises.

1 yAs far as having many issues with government and being unwilling to endorse any candidate, at least major party ones, yes. As far as the specific issues, probably not. I think government is far, far too large and intrusive.

In some countries influential people aren't allowed to sway the public either way.
10 Reply27.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No, she should come out for President Trump. If you love America you want leadership that will fix problems instead of create them.
10 Reply11.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. In sentiment yeah. But that's just an easy way to avoid controversy
10 Reply3.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The government is run by the Professional Political Overseer Class. They look out for their system and not the people. What has the government actually done well? What have they fixed? They create more problems and never fix anything.

Anonymous(30-35)1 yI agree with her. I voted independent in both of the last two election, and probably will again this time. I view Trump of the lesser of the two evils in this year's election, but he's almost as bad as her but in different ways.
