As we know, Trump and Putin are having a historic meeting. No one knows what will happen. But if you are liberal, you will have to come up with reasons why Trump did poorly here. It is the same with conservatives and Biden too. I think the most rational thing is not to adhere to any ideology. Lots of people are neither liberal nor conservative. They are independents. What do you think?

People can have wrong ideas, but still try and justify themselves and their poor beliefs. You need only look at flat earthers, atheists and anti vaxxers. All opinion based positions, with little tether in reality - but think they are existential.

Ideologies, like opinions, don't mean much in the overall scheme of things. If they are wrong or pig headed, then they will cause some furore and/or distress for a short period Eventually being subjugated or side lined once their shock factor gets overcome.

You don't need to fight everything, to win. Ideologies are often just shortcuts people use to justify something there is little factual basis for.
