Should people who refuse to obey evacuation orders have their life insurance cancelled or be rescued by taxpayer funded first responders?

They accepted the risks, and should pay the consequences.

They should still get the same benefits as the people who took the warnings seriously and did not risk their lives

I will expect that most of those to be rescued will also have paid taxes this way or one other way.

It appears strange to me that in a country that's so proud about its inhabitants' ''freedom'' there are many who attempt to deny this ''freedom'' (to others).

Only for that? Not rescuing them seems a bit heartless unless it’s too dangerous to rescue them.
