Nearly every good piece of legislation/regulation has negative consequences. Increased safety standards always have an increased cost. Nothing you can do about it. I think it's a waste of time to even think about it. Instead, look for unrelated ways to increase native birth rates. But the gov doesn't actually want that, and Vance is full of shit. The entire ruling class is deliberately pushing down native birth rates. People like him just placate the people that don't want to accept that we're doomed.

Yes believe it or not the car seat like countless other new costs are what make babies soo difficult and expensive.
A car seat can easily cost between 100-300 dollars this is not a minor expense for people young enough to have babies, and your not allowed to buy them used to use them for all that long either.

This is one of countless new rules that make having babies extremely expensive in the west.

The more kids survive beyond a certain age, the less kids are born.

Simply because parents can be sure the two kids they have will survive and not die of deseasses or sudden breaking.
