We didn't colonise anyone, we were colonised. We weren't Nazis, either. Even if you argue that mass migration to the UK and France is fair punishment for colonialism, and mass migration to Germany and Austria is fair punishment for Nazism, Ireland did nothing to deserve it.

The only people who have a legitimate right to live in Ireland are the indigenous Gaels. Even the prods in Ulster have to go, but the migrants are worst of all because they have nothing in common with us and their numbers are growing at an extremely alarming rate.

It's the same everywhere in the West, often it's justified under different reasoning per nation for example

For Britain "we colonized xyz country"

For Ireland "we migrated everywhere too"

For Germany "we were nazis"

For America "we enslaved blacks"

Do people care? Not really - until it affects them personally, they will spout the same shitty world views, often these people come from relatively homogenous communities as well, so they have no actual experience of "diversity"
