I looked into ‘Stop The Boats’ specifically and I believe the findings are that the citizens of The United Kingdom want to stop all nonlegal immigration not stop all immigration as a whole. The head of The Labour Party that won in ‘24, actually called it out and said they should target gangs so, we don’t need to worry about the boats. That the movement was misguided.

I will say we don’t want to stop all nonlegal immigration , though some of us are complacent with children being ripped from arms of their parents , children being deported when they came here for medical treatment , also those that left their country for asylum because their government has it out for them where our governments are fair and free (by comparison).

We should treat illegal activity as criminal , though we should also have compassion because the people we send back aren’t drug lords or in gangs or violent bastards once you look into their background. So why not cherry pick?

I believe we should make legal immigration easier so, it can go from US V. THEM to only US. Every wave of immigrants got sh-t thrown at them from Irish, Italian, Catholic, Jewish, Russian, French, etc. from my perspective as an American.
We should open our hearts , though still fight illegal activity. What I see in my country is dead wrong. They are making a prison in Florida to house people in an alligator swamp which will cost millions of our nation’s dollars to maintain while it would be cheaper to send them back where they came from. I was thinking about this today, and surely the only moral thing a government can do is listen to the will of the people. People have been shouting and screaming about this for many years, voting for severely limiting immigration. Because they would not listen, the people have been screaming out in suffering for years and years. Their standards of living have tanked. They told their own populations not to reproduce because of climate change. People in their 20s, 30s and 40s can't afford to get onto the property ladder. Therefore, can't afford to have children. An entire generation has been wiped out, and replaced with the third world. Western cultures are being decimated. And those in the political class still have their fingers in their ears, chattering away in the most chimpish fashion.

To be fair being qualified, educated, what have you, isn't any longer a guarantee of a good salary, at least here in the UK. The university educated are ten a penny, and sure, you command a higher salary for being say, a civil engineer, a doctor, a director, but not everybody can be those things. The 'educated professionals' here in the north where I work often earn somewhere in the 30 to 40k range. Which isn't going to get you very far in today's housing market. Or course, it's not so bad if you're in a dual salary household and you managed to get a property 10+ years ago when things were still reasonable. I do look at benefits claims as part of my work, and I do see it quite frequent that benefits claimaints, many of whom are refugees, have indefinite leave to remain, what have you, often get more money on benefits than the people in my workplace doing their roles. I've seen £2900 per month, which would be a salary of £45000 gross. Many of the claims are somewhere in the region of £1700 per month, which is more than minimum wage here. Certainly we have seen a great wage stagnation here in the last 20 or so years, and one reason in my opinion for that is a huge glut of labour due to mass migration. It does benefit the employers and corporations, but I can't see how it benefits those at the bottom. And of course, given rampant inflation, and the government effectively having to subsidise shitty wages, it just creates more inflated renting and mortgage costs.

It is far too positive a term for refugees and other religious invaders. Makes it sound like they came in legitimately.
