Why do some people get so offended when others respectfully disagree with them?

It's called a lack of self-control.

Losing your shit because someone shares an opinion you don't agree with is also a sign of immaturity, narcissism, etc... all bad.

(Lacking self-control also allows other people the ability to control their weather. They're marionettes.)

It makes them feel threatened. They interpret disagreement as an accusation that they are wrong. Ideological Christians, Muslims and Atheists think the same way.

It's a sign of the modern world yet keep in mind these things I'm sure have been happening even in ancient times or further, humans are just a hard bunch to always agree politely lol like the animals are not much better if not animals worse lol

Much of the time, this kind of people already had - beforehand- decided to get mad at some stage.

It's their personal ''culture'' :)

People who lack intelligence see a disagreement as an attack on themselves personally instead of seeing it as different people having different opinions
